All stories are shrouded in kernels of truth, each a grain of sand in life's ever-hastening hourglass. Including mine. I'll tell you my secrets if you must know them, but they are not for the faint of heart. Stop me if I dive too deeply or recount too savagely the memories and visions that have shaped me. Look away if you must because if you come with me on this journey you may not like what you see for we will dance with the supernatural, the macabre, the Devil himself. And you will know me better... CW: References to child abuse, and addiction.Transcript Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapulleAda: Tanja MilojevicTess: Janine BowerToby Dammit: Russ MooreThe Man: Harlan GuthrieSergeant: Brandon NyugenEditor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Pacific ObadiahMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! Was it the Devil?I told you, you may not like what you hear. But you've asked me to tell you about my life and my stories. And the truth is that memory causes the real and imagined to blend, metamorphosing what is real into a sometimes monstrous form, unrecognizable, dark. Such is my memory of the sweet Ada, a muse of some of my earliest raptures. I wrote about her once long ago... CW: References to historical sex work, and addiction.TranscriptWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraAda: Tanja MilojevicTess: Janine BowerPatron: Hersham ElhazlyLieutenant: Julian DaileyThe Man: Harlan GuthrieEditor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Pacific ObadiahMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara  A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! Chapter Three: Morella

For as long ago as that was, it feels like yesterday. Such is the accordion of time. Push it in, and time passes in fleeting instants, pull it out and suddenly, years and decades are behind you. Every push and pull brings us closer to the inevitable. The only truth there is. That we are born. And we die. Everything in between is a collection of those fleeting instants. Which is why we're here, isn't it? So you know more about my collection. It certainly is why we continued finding our way to the Tamerlane... CW: implied sex (off screen), addiction, death of a child.TranscriptWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraThomas: Mark WhittenAda: Tanja MilojevicTess: Janine BowerMorella: Beth EyreYoung morella: Kayla TemshivPriest: Michael Ignacio, Jr.Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media!  The light is failing us, isn't it? And why shouldn't we linger in the dark by the light of this candle? Your question is an interesting one. As must be the case for you as well, inspiration comes from many sources, legend, tall-tales, lived experience. I see from the low nod of your head that you agree. As we all must, making sense of this strange world often requires us to process what we hear and see, often numerous points of influence coalescing into a single inspiration. A poem. A story. A letter. This is the story behind a story.Episode 4: The Cask of Amontillado CW: gunfire, ghosts. Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraMarcus: Terrel WorrellMassie: Chris Harris-Beechey  Drane: Vic CollinsFelix: Dustin ParsonsVoice: Daisy McNamarai   Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara  A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! Is it not there as it is here? Death creeping around every corner, always readying to strike, the eye of the beast abject and cruel? I know it must be, for your face tells all. My final venture to the Tamerlane was a harrowing affair, a reminder of how feeble we all are, but it awakened me to the dreamlike undercurrent of our world, and that great, lurking evil. CW: Disease Written by Jeff Whitehead Edgar Allan Poe: Mick Wheaton Roderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraRosa: Melissa LuskAda: Tanja Milojevic Tess: Janine Bower The Man: Harlan Guthrie Transcript:  Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara  A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! If you would judge me for my habits, then our conversation is over. So look not with that sour face upon my tormented being. Instead, if you wish me to continue, wash away the notion that you have any idea what comes next. The things I have seen...sometimes I have difficulty telling whether they are dream or reality. CW: Illness. Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapulleThe Man: Harlan Guthrie Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamara Transcript: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jk4ltsdzj0zbu48e20b6d/EP.6-Script-Poe.pdf?rlkey=0mcinl0w60xztlnmadv2rz34g&st=xva0nzs2&dl=0  A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! I have never confessed this, not aloud at least. In fact, I took great pains to conceal these early years, to bottle them up in extravagant lies of travel to Greece and Russia and elsewhere abroad. But now you know that under my false name, I traveled with a company of good men to an island not without an eerie beauty where I had little expectation for any sort of inspiration or adventure. But in this as in many things, I found myself almost wholly wrong. CW: References to historical slavery, insects.Support Film Camp In A Box- thegeorgearomerofoundation.orgWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonAnna Ravenel: Kayla TemshivEdmund Ravenel: Gerald HillLegrand: Karim KronfliJupiter: Damon AlumsRobert: Stephen IndrisanoEditor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Daisy McNamaraTranscript:   A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media!  I had spent so much time with death that I had almost forgotten what it was like to be alive. I was good to my word, and not just to Anna. I was noticed by my superior officers and before long, I was promoted to artificer, a non-commissioned officer. William was very jealous as he had no such luck in promotion. My mechanical skill, education, and cleverness prevailed in my exceeding expectations, and I was keen to share the news with my newfound love... CW: maritime disaster, death of a family member.  Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonAnna Ravenel: Kayla TemshivEdmund Ravenel: Gerald HillMarion: Madeline MooreOliver: Marquiz MooreCornelius: David AultVoice: B. I would not be denied. My sights were set, and as it does so often do when I fixate, the obsession drove me nearly mad. I developed an immediate disdain for Anna's father for pulling her away from me, and even my new friend Edmund distanced himself, sensing that any reminder of him would also be a reminder of her. They closed the house on the island, and Edmund began working exclusively from Charleston. That two-hour distance felt like it might as well have been the distance to another world as it meant that I could not see Anna each day. CW: Claustrophobia.  Written by Jeff Whitehead Edgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonRoderick Usher: Giancarlo HerreraAnna Ravenel: Kayla TemshivEdmund Ravenel: Gerald HillWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapullePeter: Jon GrilzDeath: Katrina Pecina Voice 1: Anver MahmudVoice 2: Dylan GriggsVoice 3: Oliver Smith Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Pacific Obadiah and Daisy McNamaraJoin our discord: https://discord.gg/8Tb8WKpA Transcript:  Find us on Social Media:https://x.com/Poe_Evermorehttps://www.instagram.com/poe_evermore/ A production of Eelsong Studios, Bloody FM, And Midnight Disease Productions.Find us on Social Media! The plan? We'll get to that. I was good to my word, and I dedicated myself to the notion that I could be a successful soldier. All the while, I would steal away in the night whenever I had leave the day hence to meet Anna in our cemetery. I gained favor with her heart, but could not reach her mind, and she remained within her father's gripping claws, preparing for the inevitable day when she would leave for her life of solitude on some plantation or other. I resented it most because her father reminded me of my own foster father with whom I continued to quarrel despite my success as a soldier. CW: Addiction Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonAnna Ravenel: Kayla TemshivThe Man: Harlan GuthrieLt. Chapter 12- Berenice

Chapter 12: BereniceI had a flagrant heart in my youth, one that was difficult to temper, and even more challenging to assuage completely. After our encounter in the cemetery, there was change. For me, it was wholly unpleasant. As you may imagine, I did not handle the news very well...CW: Teeth, Claustrophobia, AddictionTranscriptWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonThe Gravedigger: Erika SandersonEgaeus: B. No, it was not a happy transition. The company moved quickly, and by Christmas of 1828, I was back where I had started less than two years hence. In Virginia. Not more than 100 miles from my foster family. And yet, the communication was broken with them. I spoke not to them nor them to me. I was unaware of the depth of my foster mother's decline. But it was not until my promotion that I tried to reestablish contact. It started as most important things do, with a single sheet of paper.CW: Death of a parentTranscriptWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonJohn Allan: Ben CounterWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapulleLt.  My life changed within a matter of days. John Allan had given me all that I had asked upon my foster mother's death. I am not sure as to why. Had he been curious about my true intentions, seeking to challenge me or call my bluff? Was it a change of heart? I knew not, but I did not wait for him to change his mind. I was good to my word, and I set my mind to the sole purpose of securing a replacement for my compact with the Army so that I could attend West Point and become a General.CW: Illness, death of a loved one, supernaturalTranscriptWritten by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapulleAnna Ravenel: Kayla TemshivEdmund Ravenel: Gerald HillEgaeus: B. My life changed irrevocably thereafter. At once, I was wayward, nearly purposeless, listless on a great ocean. The object of my youthful affection had been stolen from me, and I was cheated out of a future that Icould see clearly. The life of a General with a great lady by my side. Perhaps children. Perhaps. All dashed by the evil of greed, a sin that I have come to appreciate least of all. Thankfully, of all of my own sins, I suffer least from that one. I was in no mood for argument when I returned from the cemetery, but argument found me easily enough. CW: Death of a loved one, supernatural, addiction, self harm. Written by Jeff WhiteheadEdgar Allan Poe: Mick WheatonCharles Dickens: Jonathon SimsWilliam Wilson: Sean BabapulleCaptain: Josh BeardFan: Sarah GoldingMedic: Kale BrownSailor: Isaiah RothsteinCabin Boy: Erika Sanderson Sailor 2: Oliver SmithTranscript: Editor: Daisy McNamaraSound Designer: Dustin ParsonsMusic: Newt SchottelkotteArt: Ryan CarrShowrunner: Daisy McNamaraProducer: Pacific ObadiahDirector: Daisy McNamara and Pacific S.
