Approaching the lake at night, they saw a ruined castled lit up by a strange green aura. In which furniture is challenged and the story is rejoined … Last episode our heroes took on the Yuan Ti priest and his giant viper. The priest mind controlled Mantou and the lovely wolf turned on his master and friend Billicus, biting him. Hearts broke, barbarians raged and the priest was defeated. Then, they pressed on to the dungeons below, where they found a macabre scene of prisoners being prepared for the kitchens. Now the exploration continues. In which the party blunder through the fight, and we blunder through borderline offensive topics … Last episode, the party mutilated the two sentries, and wondered if they weren’t, themselves, the bad guys. They entered the hidden headquarters of the society of the snake and interrupted a ceremony. A half-blood Yuan Ti priest was worshiping a huge viper, along with a whole bunch of cultists. Garrek put Mantou the wolf on his shoulders and used a robe to create a ruse, Billicus became Gorrilicus, and the battle ensued. In which our heroes assault the mansion, by way of a wishing well … Last episode our heroes had cleared out the crypt and learned the story of Hana Hallswift. Cedric March, the kidnapped cleric, remembered that he’d been held in a huge mansion outside the city, where he’d seen the Yuan Ti abomination. The party went to the docks to visit famed bard and conspiracy theorist Alex James. he showed them the location of the mansion, believed to belong to the society of the snake. They approached the outer border of the estate by night, but Garrick fell into the moat. In which strange bards are met, and an assault begins … Last episode Gorillicus beat the viper to death and the battle in the catacombs was won. The party entered the crypt of Hana Hallswift and read her legend on a mural. However, when they opened the sarcophagus, it was empty. All they had to go on was a book revealing that the mysterious snake people were a race of creatures called the Yuan Ti. In which pits are peered into and snakes have faces … Last episode the party set off to follow some leads on the secret society shenanigans in town. Ultimately they ignored all the leads and simply went to a square. It was very pleasant. From the square they set off to the catacomb headquarters of The Society of the Silver Ring, suspected in the kidnapping of Cedric March. Upon arriving they found only two unarmed priests, so they beat them up. In which a delightful evening square is visited and the mission is rejoined … Last episode the wounded Seyda and Hjani limped through the streets of Port Valor to the Elven Quarter where they were reunited with Billicus. He’d forgotten all about the mission. They were introduced to Garrick, an unassuming Dwarven cleric who was penniless on his holy mission to help the weak. Garrick reminded them about the Kidnapped cleric Cedric March but the party decided to head back to the manor house where they harassed the butler and took a bath. In which shopping is done and the danger zone is entered … Last time our heroes had arrived in Port Valor and hooked up with their host Albert Greenstone, brother of Aaron from Aertelis. While dining in his opulent town house, assassins attacked. Bjorn was stabbed and poisoned, but after a fight, they prevailed. They failed to capture one alive as they came with suicide pills. Later, they trashed Bjorn’s bedroom for no reason while he deciphered a coded message from an assassin’s pocket … it pointed to a location in the city known as ‘anvil.’ But, before doing anything else, no counting breakfast, they headed to town to bank all their treasure. After spending the winter in Aertelis, the party sailed into Port Valor: a vast walled city-port and capital of the Realm of the Merchant Kings. They hooked up with their contact, Albert Greenstone and went back to his lavish house in the noble district … but had trouble remembering exactly what the mission was. Really. Suddenly, assassins entered the house and broke up the dinner. Bjorn was first into the fray but was stabbed by a dagger coated in deadly snake venom. In which a new adventure begins, if only the party could remember what it was … Last episode our heroes finally defeated the dread lord of the mind flayers, Xorbaetralor. Hjani stabbed and Billicus called down the lightning. Squid chunks went everywhere. They prevented the monolith from ever being used again by casting Meld Stone and turning the control chair into a big dick. Back at Aertelis everyone reflected on the adventure and thought about where to go next. Jani Kitu would go back to Kikathra via a never before completed overland route. Derrick and Lemons would sail for the five colonies of Challis and make a new life. Finally, the party chose to head for Port Valor, capital city of the Realm of the Merchant Kings, and look into some intrigue there, on behalf of Aaron Greenstone. In which automatons are fondled and the big bad is met … Last episode, our heroes emerged from the underground and prepared to cross a sketchy rope bridge out to the side of the monolith. As they prepared to cross, the wounded blue dragon appeared to exact revenge. Bjorn managed to jump onto its back, but Seyda shot it with an arrow, sending it smashing through the bridge. In which we meet pits, a portcullis and perhaps wall-worms … Last episode our heroes faced down two Illithid in the breeding chamber, with Billicus in wild shape as a gorilla. Gorillicus tipped the battle their way by using one mind flyer to hit the other. After the fight, they saw the whole sick process of ceremorphosis drawn out on the walls as grotesque murals. Then they gazed into a portal and saw the cold universe and the Illithid home world. Aside from Hjani, they went into a stupor for hours, so Hjani used the bondage kits from Episode 15 to restrain them, ball-gags and all.
