In this episode I talk about the idea of being sidetracked in the world. Christians are not meant to be the "ruling" faith system. Jesus would not talk about the world not being our home or that we would be divided against others from them, if it was the case. We explore this idea a little more in depth in the episode. In this episode I talk about using different translations of the bible. The way to understand scriptures better, often is to get a different perspective. It is not a way to challenge you as much as to better explore the depth and breadth of scriptures meanings. Quote mentioned: "A diverse mix of voices leads to better discussions, decisions, and outcomes for everyone," - Sundar Pichai. Reach out!Ponderingtheologian@gmail.com

In the current time of recording, empathy is something that has become villified. It has become a "woke", "snowflake" thing in the way some refer to it. What is a more Christian understanding to what this thing is? I give my pastoral thoughts on that and share what I think about empathy from a Christian standpoint. -NathanielReach out!email: ponderingtheologian@gmail.com
