Prince Mavalathan engages in a friendly game of dice with his Poet Kannapanar. The friendly game builds into a fierce competition which results into a conflict with usage of derogatory words. The story preaches the importance of not losing ones cool at any given situation and also to avoid unparliamentary words. This show is hosted by Lavanya and I (Raghavi)This is our attempt to give you the  ancient Purananutru songs in a form of story telling .We have adapted the Tamizh folk song Villupattu to effectively articulate the stories. Purananutru sirugathaigal is compilation of short stories written by Late revered Na.Parthasarathy  which was published in Sudesa Mitran weekly. The stories written by Late Na.Parthasarathy are exhaustive ,we have taken the stories and rendering them in simple language with few entertaining factors so that it stirs an interest in the young generation.The script , content and songs are original composition.
