Description

Every week we bring you the latest news in Movies and Television. It's friends getting together and talking about what they love or hate in the genre. We aren't experts, we're not critics, we're not writers but we are FANS! We're called The Leftovers for a reason. We're like Danny DeVito in Twins. All the talent and originality went into the other podcasts. All the crap that was left over...went into what you listen to on this show.
We talk about the latest movies in MARVEL like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. DC movies like The Batman, The Flash, Black Adam. And all the STAR WARS movies. But we also cover other blockbusters and don't shy away from indie films as well. We breakdown and discuss new trailers for upcoming movies. And we got you covered in television with shows like Moon Knight, The Boys, Umbrella Academy, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, The Mandalorian, Halo, The Last of Us, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Loki, Secret Invasion Ironheart, Ms. Marvel, The Book of Boba Fett, Peacemaker, The Walking Dead and more.
We love to review the first episodes of most shows and let you know if it's worth your time. So strap yourself in and have a good time! Strap yourself in? Really? Just listen. No straps required. Unless you're into that sort of thing. Thank you for 10 years.
Welcome to our review for THE FLASH. We are joined by Philip Guillet as well as Joe Vitale from The Vintage Geeks Podcast. Warner Bros. Pictures presents “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti (the “IT” films, “Mama”). Ezra Miller reprises their role as Barry Allen in the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film.Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?“The Flash” ensemble also includes rising star Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon (“Bullet Train,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Ron Livingston (“Loudermilk,” “The Conjuring”), Maribel Verdú (“Elite,” “Y tu mamá también”), Kiersey Clemons (“Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” “Sweetheart”), Antje Traue (“King of Ravens,” “Man of Steel”) and Michael Keaton (“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Batman”).“The Flash” is produced by Barbara Muschietti (the “IT” films, “Mama”) and Michael Disco (“Rampage,” “San Andreas”). The screenplay is by Christina Hodson (“Birds of Prey,” “Bumblebee”), with a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein (“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming”) and Joby Harold (“Transformers:Rise of the Beasts,” “Army of the Dead”), based on characters from DC. The executive producers are Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman and Marianne Jenkins.Joining director Muschietti behind the camera are director of photography Henry Braham (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “The Suicide Squad”), production designer Paul Denham Austerberry (“IT Chapter Two,” “The Shape of Water”), editors Jason Ballantine (the “IT” films, “The Great Gatsby”) and Paul Machliss (“The Gentlemen,” “Baby Driver”), and costume designer Alexandra Byrne (“Doctor Strange,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”); the score is by Benjamin Wallfisch (“The Invisible Man,” the “IT” films).Warner Bros. I think the best way to put my feelings about this podcast in a review is. you know those asshole friends you have that you love talking about movies and other crap. That's the pop culture leftover podcast. They make you laugh. They keep you informed. Even though they say most of the episodes are shit I haven't found one that I wouldn't listen to twice. Thanks Brian and Jake keep up the good work.
