Kelly Packard began her entertainment career at age eight with television commercials and won Miss California Pre-Teen in 1988. She transitioned to series television in her teens, with guest appearances on The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, Step by Step, and Living Dolls. Her first regular role was as surfer-chick Tiffani on NBC's California Dreams, from the producer of Saved by the Bell, which she played for five seasons.
Packard is best known for her role as April, the fashion-designing lifeguard on Baywatch, where she starred alongside Carmen Electra and David Hasselhoff. She later co-hosted Ripley's Believe It or Not! with Dean Cain, traveling the world to report on extraordinary feats.
Her hosting credits include House Wars (USA Network), Secret Beaches (The Travel Channel), RopeSport with Eric Nies, Billy's BootCamp with Billy Blanks, and various programs for KCET and E! Networks. She also hosted GSN Live on The Game Show Network and the sketch comedy show ACME this Week at ACME Comedy Theatre.
Packard's film credits include Auto Focus, Mind Wars, Get Your Stuff, and two Lifetime movies. She resides in Texas with her husband, Dr. Darrin Privett, and their four children. She enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her animals, and traveling, with Taco Bell as her comfort food.
