Anita is an autism advocate and author and has an incredible story to share with us, as she talks about her diagnoses of autism at age 50 and the challenges she has overcome in this time in her career. Anita, a Certified Nurse Anaesthetist, talks of the challenges she has come across during her career and how she has successfully combatted these, giving crucial advice to parents and those on the spectrum regarding skills they need to help them gain employment. Furthermore, we will be talking to Anita all about her wonderful All Autism Wedding that took place just over a year ago. We will also talk with Anita about celebrating her recent one year anniversary, with her husband, Abraham, who is also on the autism spectrum. Anita sheds light on what it is like to be in a relationship with another individual on the spectrum, spreading the important, empowering message, that people with autism still love and can be in relationships.
