Fall tour has come and gone for our new favorite band, Goose. However, the dazzling foil and magical imagery that's on our walls is giving us all the feels of fall and memories of an incredible evening together in Chicago, IL. Marq Spusta, a name that most poster collectors know, created the incredible piece for that show and we do a deep dive with the man himself, finding easter eggs (did you find them?) and talking about the merch game that Goose has been perfecting the last few years. If you'd like to check out Marq's work, find him over on Instagram @spustastudio and his shop (that has new drops every Wednesday) www.shop.marqspusta.com Thanks for listening! If you like this episode, please like and share with other poster collectors, music fans and art enthusiasts!

60 episodes? How did we get here!? IF you are new to the podcast, or one of our OGs, WELCOME and we're excited you are here. This episode is a "classic" Erica and Mike conversation about recent poster scoops, our favorite merch we recently picked up at the DMB shows in Charleston, SC from June 20-21, 2025. Mike geeks out about his favorite t-shirt brand, Comfort Colors, and we review the newest posters to the collection. Have you been chasing a poster? A song perhaps? Maybe a specific merch-adjacent item? What have you recently scooped that finally completed a merch hunt? Also some cool news: We're hosting another podcast! In partnership with Invisible Industries, we are launching "Best of The Tour" Podcast- check us out on Instagram @bestofthetour and soon to be where you get your podcasts!
We have SO much fun to share, as we recently got back from a 4 show, 3 city adventure with Goose the Band! Join us on today's chatty and wild conversation, as we share our love for traveling, seeing the band we love, and buying the posters!!BIG thanks to all the incredible artists, shout out to them over on Instagram!! We get a little heated about art, and buying the art you LOVE and being KIND always.
We're BACK BABY. 2025 Tour opener starts tonight for the Dave Matthew's Band, and Goose kicks off soon, so we thought what better a time to recap where we've recently been, check in with the MERCH game from a few new bands we've recently had the pleasure to go to see (Billy Strings, Pearl Jam to name a few).We chat free-flowing about our impressions from a collectors perspective, and what we're really excited about seeing on the road in 2025. Mike is beyond thrilled with the new @rockswell_ design for DMB tour 2025 shirt, and Erica is ready for more poster game fodder and fan made merch on the road. The Pod will be out starting 6/3 in Las Vegas, NV to see @goosetheband and then 6/6-7 in Denver, CO at the famous Fiddler's Green Amphitheater. 6/17 in Wilmington, NC and then to see @davematthewsband in Charleston, SC on 6/20-21.We hope to see you on the road! Who are you excited to see in 2025?
What a FUN conversation today with one of our favorite artists, Andrew Sax from @somesaxyart!! We loved chatting with Andrew (or Saxy as his friends call him) and doing a deep dive on his VIP print from Goosemas 2024! Andrew is a true lover of music and artist, drawing inspiration from the tunes, the vibes and the joy that the music brings him. We learned about Andrew's growth within the gig poster industry, coming up through the Lot scene and creating posters for the bands he loved to go see! We did a deep dive as well into the Goosemas print from 2024, as well as chatted about what inspires Andrew, what keeps him coming back for more. And yes, the monkeys do work their abdominals (not work at Domino's). Check out Andrew's work on Instagram @somesaxyart and his website www.somesaxyart.com and look for Andrew out on tour with his favorite bands this summer!
It's been a HOT minute since we got to have a good old fashioned rambling episode, but A LOT has happened in the last few weeks. This episode Mike and Erica dive into the latest winter tour posters, specifically for Dave & Tim Mexico 2025 and the Goose Winter Tour. There's a ton of prints to discuss, including (but not limited to) D&T prints by artists Josh Noom, Brian Steeley, Daniel Danger, Max Mahn, Joaqun Nava, and Goose prints by artists Tiffany Chin, Schnitzelbearstudios, James Flames, Lewy Jones, Dave Kloc and Max Loffler. Deep dives coming soon for a few prints we were able to get in hand. Also, heading into 2025, what would you like to see from the podcast! Please like and share episodes on the socials, and subscribe for first notifications on all streaming platforms!
One of the best parts of this podcast is meeting the incredible people behind the art and the music that brings us together. Today's episode brings a fun and joyful conversation with Caroline Herbster and Chase Lynch of Rising Tide Art Studio. We had the pleasure of meeting Caroline and Chase at the Chucktown Flowdown aka the Artist Vendor Market/Fair in Charleston, SC this past December. Caroline is the maker behind the live artwork at many of our favorite concerts (like Goose, Billy Strings, Phish ... just to name a few). Her artwork is an extension of the music and the energy at the concerts she attends, and WOW, it's like magic. Our conversation flows through her childhood as an avid music goer (thankful for wonderful parents bringing their kids to shows!), her teaching background and post-pandemic era desire to dive into creating artwork. We loved hearing Caroline and Chase's story about how Rising Tide has impacted the incredible community within music and art, and where they're going in the future (hint hint- it's where the music takes them....). We love Caroline and Chase's heart for their fellow artists and the incredibly supportive community that's been built - and the wonderful official Goose management team that's given fan art a place to grow! If you'd like to learn more about Rising Tide Art Studio, please visit their Instagram @risingtideartstudio or website www.risingtideartstudio.com!

T'was the weekend before Goosemas, and the podcast was stirring, with visions of PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE musings in their head. If you are unfamiliar with the band Goose, or a new listener to their music, today's episode is dedicated to their annual "Goosemas" event. Since 2014, the band has celebrated this event, and has grown in it's following over the past 11 years. Goosemas 11, which takes place in North Charleston, SC is happening on Friday December 13th and Saturday December 14th. Mike and Erica look back, upon the ghosts of Goosemas PAST, where we are headed in the PRESENT, and what we think the FUTURE looks like. Join us as we discuss the event, posters, and venues that are all leading us to the 11th year of Goosemas. Shout out to the artists of the past (including Will Thrasher, Jonny Lovering, Brian Steeley, Twin Home Prints, David Welker, Travis Gillian, Jim Pollock, The GrassPot, and newly inducted Dave Kloc and Jim Mazza) to the Goosemas print hall of fame. A poster "adjacent" conversation with artist and Project BOWA creator, Michelle Ramos. Michelle is a DMB fan who started creating beautiful DMB inspired bookmarks to hand out at shows back in 2022. Her bookmarks are beautiful and have garnered the attention of our musical community. Our conversation with Michelle circles around how her love for DMB music has created a pathway as an artist, and a hope and joy dealer as well. Her bookmarks from Project BOWA have brought unexpected joy and inspiration to the recipients. Her goal for 2024, to have her bookmarks at every DMB show during the summer tour. Art truly is in the eye of the beholder, and Michelle's inspired and beautiful art is sharing the "best of what's around" within our loving community. You can find Michelle's art at www.michelle-ramos.com and on Facebook and Instagram @projectbowa.
