Today's episode I got the chance to interview my friend and teammate Nathan Gozaga. He recently competed at the Virus Weightlifting Series 1 at the Arnold Classic convention and won the University Championship category!
Annie Gough is a 55kg Lifter going to switch to 53kg when the new weight classes change. She's only been lifting for about a year and half and already qualify for nationals twice! She's got some big goals coming up so tune in and hear what she has to say!

Hey guys, thank you for tuning in. it's been a really long time but this is an update on the podcast moving forward, as well as an update on my life. This one is super personal and I hope you enjoy it.
Today's episode I get to talk to my friend JJ Williams he is a 89/96kg weightlifter who just got done competing at the AO finals in Wilmington NC where he shocked his competitors with a huge 151kg snatch that earned him a silver medal. He is only 22 years old and have been weightlifting for only 3 years he is the future of this sport. Tune in to this awesome pod he is an awesome person with such positive energy!

He is a great chef and Senior National weightlifter and has been competing for over 10 years! He is considered a masters athlete but still compete along side the Senior age category. Very inspirational person and my favorite podcast to date. hope you guys enjoy!!

In this Episode I get to talk with Aaron Vaughn the owner of Versed Skateshop in Carmel. Indiana. Is a skater/owner of versed skate shop in Carmel, Indiana. Born and raised in Lawerence Indiana, he is one of the pioneers to help give back to the community with his opening of his own skate shop within the past year. We also talk about how keeps a balanced healthy life with health and fitness as he hired Matt Blas to coach him with his strength and conditioning program. It is interesting hearing how Matt programs for a skateboarder and also a guy who loves to run, bike and travel. Aaron wears many hats but you get to hear his personality and super self driven, humble guy he is in this podcast!
Today's episode I got the chance to speak with Team USA's 55kg olympic weightlifter Leila Cook. Leila has been in the sport of weightlifting at the age of 15 when she did her first competition and hasn't looked back. In this episode we talk about her background on how she became basically a science project on herself through trail and error lifting alone for the majority of her career to her education and experience at ASU with the sports performance side of her coaching and kinesiology experience. I think you'll find out more about Leila in this episode about her calculated mindset, her intelligence and also more of her fun side that her personality shines through in this podcast!
Today's episode I had the pleasure to interview Josh Gibson. Josh is a weightlifting coach, an author and podcaster of his own called Philosophical Weightlifting Podcast. He's currently going back to school to earn his PHD and has a lot of exciting news to come for the future. He's usually the one interviewing so it was nice to hear his personal journey and how he became one of the more successful people in this sport as a whole.
This weeks episode I got the pleasure to talk to one of my friends Andrew Stegelmann. He runs his own weightlifting team called Stegelmann Performance based out of Tennessee. Andrew is a Physical Therapist and competitive weightlifter and we talk about programming, rehab, business and other fun topics.

A big takeaway from this podcast is how he keeps himself motivated by challenging his friends from his team, being competitive with another but also keeping it fun!
