Hello again tribe and welcome to season 5 of Poz Vibe Podcast. Welcome back Poz Vibe Tribe to episode 2 in our special Chem Sessions series. This week we were lucky to chat to Aoife Drury of Drury Therapy. Aoife is a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist with more than 15 years of experience working in mental health. She is also in her final year of a Doctorate in Psychotherapy at Dublin City University, where she has specialised in researching the impact of Chemsex on intimate relationships. Welcome back Poz Viberz. We had a gorgeous chat this week with Donagh O'Malley who talked about his experience of living with HIV. Donagh shared what it was like telling his mum about his status and the joy of adopting his young son. He returned to live in Ireland in early 2022, after 28 years living away and works for himself in the music industry. G'day again Poz Vibe family. This week, we met with Robbie Wilson, a former cardiac nurse from Tasmania who has been living with HIV for 38 yrs. Currently, he is involved with the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation and is also an Encali care giver. In this episode, Robbie shared his experience of being an older queer man, aging with a chronic illness. He also talked about psychosocial health and the importance of maintaining relationships and holding onto hope.
