All 4 "corners" of our Warrior Up Team are back together this week reporting on Jason's experience talking at the FIRM Foundation EXPO (right before Tim Ballard of https://ourrescue.org). The focus this week is on Warrior Ethos Principle #5: I Blame No One for my Faults and Give Thanks for my Abilities. Why do we fall into the mental traps of feeling victimized by the trials we face in life? What language reflects that we may be in blame, and not taking responsibility for our own inner conversations? How do we shift from resistance, weakness, anger etc. into real strength? 4 people who have faced their own demons talk about it. Jason was trained to face death in war, and yet, was traumatized in many other ways that trained him to react, instead of knowing how to navigate as a spiritual warrior. Melanie grew up in a dysfunctional home and felt like a complete failure as a mother with a son that had aspergers. How many hours a day did she "go to her closet" to get her answers? Lori has been shown things that can happen to overcome huge challenges, even while she faces many herself. Thor was suicidal as a young man, and had a miraculous spiritual intervention. Since then, he has had a gift of seeing spiritual beings, both dark ones, ones that operate in-the-light, and how they affect us here in mortality.
