John Capers is the Historian at Merion Golf Club. Today we discuss his recent battle with cancer, the recent ruling on the ball, and a lifetime at Merion. John has 19 Club Championships at Merion and after 80 years of Membership his passion for the club and it's history continues to grow. While spending his days at Merion giving archive tours to fellow Members and their Guests, John also is a resource for other clubs around the world who have an interest in maintaining their own history.
Billy and I share a round at Sebonack Golf Club with other VGA Members and after spend some time in The Founders Locker Room at the club discussing the course, his time as a combat medic, having delt with over 100 casualties, his leadership role in the VGA, and how golf played a role in his ongoing recovery.
Pendleton is an accomplished amateur golfer who has played golf her entire life, was part of the Georgetown Womens Golf Team, and since has qualified for the Mid Am. Currently she still plays golf competitively while pursuing a career in finance in New York City.

Joe Caley found golf after being disabled in combat in the middle east. His journey led him to Augusta GA where he experienced The Masters before knowing what it was, meeting members & players, and finally being able to experience playing Augusta National himself. Today Joe spends his time maintaining his shooting skills, playing golf, and helping the Veteran Golfers Association which he co-founded with Josh Peyton.
