Press and the People

Press and the People was among the first TV programs, if not the first, to scrutinize journalism, journalists, and the process of reporting the news. Produced by WGBH in Boston, the series was hosted by Louis Lyons of the Neiman Foundation for Journalism and aired December 1958 through March 1959.
