The Russian cost of trying to take Pokrovsk is staggering, and growingToday we're looking into Russia's ongoing Pokrovsk campaign. Ukrainian General Syrsky in speaking with the Kyiv Independent and New York Post suggested that their plan now is to inflict as much damage on the attacking Russians as possible, ideally even off-setting their recruiting. He says the idea of playing dead or freezing in place no longer work given the volume of drones on the battlefield and the quality of the drone cameras.
