Starting conversations are hard for me. I get anxious and feel awkward when it comes to talking to people. Simply put, I’m not good at it, but I definitely want to improve. I found a list of conversation starters/questions on Pinterest, and I’d thought it would be fun to use this episode as a way to introduce myself if you’re interested in getting to know me. You can also use these questions in your day to day conversations with others to help boost your small talk skills. I hope you enjoy the episode. Thanks for listening.
Maturity is coming to the realization that all the things you thought were your weaknesses are actually your strengths. But, how do we get to a place when we finally believe that? Join me in today’s episode as I explore what it really means to weak, and what it really means to be strong.

Are You Okay? That’s a big question. It’s a question not all of us answer very truthfully. But, that’s understandable. We don’t always feel safe sharing our emotions with everyone, and sometimes even with our closest friends or family. When you’re someone like me who feels deeply and intensely, you often worry about burdening others with your emotions. Regardless, you should never feel like a burden. Your feelings and big emotions are valid. You’re so worthy. Enjoy this little episode I made while deep in thought. Thanks for listening.

Comparison is the thief of joy, and the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Our lives are so uniquely ours. But, if you could give up being yourself for even just a day, what choice would you make?

How do you define happiness? What brings you joy in life? I’ve had these thoughts on my mind for a while now, and lately I’ve been struggling with feeling fulfilled and satisfied with my life and where I’m at. Join me in today’s episode as I discuss how we can all practice being intentionally happy, rather than making happiness into something that is so difficult to achieve.

Hello, love. I wanted to share something I wrote on the topic of Beauty. I’m not sure yet if to call it a poem or an essay. But, I suppose you can see this as a bonus episode. I’ve gotten back into writing recently, which is something I really love to do. And so, this is basically one of my many endearing ramblings on a subject that I feel we can all relate to. I hope you enjoy this episode. More to come, as always.

In keeping up with mental health awareness month, I wanted to share some thoughts on the idea of being a strong person. What does it really mean, to be “the strong one”. This is a topic that is also very personal to me. I wonder, how can we be mentally strong in our day to day lives? Mental health awareness and comprehension is as important as ever, and it is vital that we continue to educate ourselves and others about mental health and illnesses of the mind. Thank you for listening. Enjoy the episode.

Taking life day by day is much harder than it seems. But, we'll always have tomorrow, hopefully. Each new day is a privilege and a gift, a chance for us to try again. Giving up is when you really fail. So, how do you not fail at life? I'm trying to figure that out for myself too. It's been a rough week, but, there's always next week. I'll be doing my best until then. You should too. Your best is enough. Thank you for listening to the first episode of the "Pretty Ugly Thoughts" Podcast. More to come.
Warmly, Grace.
