Eva

Hi Jason and team, I have only just found these podcasts which I've been binge listening to. I have watched some of your YT videos but can't always have the time to watch alot of things with work and studies - so the podcasts are wonderful! I love the short format but I also have hours and hours to kill so already growing anxious for when I run out of back catalogue and have to wait for the weekly shows. I'm studying in the UK and so not all is applicable but it's still just excellent content. If you did ever consider having a CAA/EASA course I'd purchase it without question. I have commented on this particular video as I'd like to just submit a possible clarification if I may. Alcohol doesn't directly bind to haemoglobin in the red blood cells so wouldn't prevent O2 binding. Jason may have been thinking of Carbon monoxide (CO) which does bind with the haemoglobin with a greater affinity to haemoglobin (perhaps a classic example for hypemic hypoxia). Alcohol disrupts cellular mechanism
