Probably Off Topic

Lots of segments this episode. We open with Pat giving us some History, get into the Best Thing We've Seen, and head back to the College Football Corner. We end the show with Gambling Gurus and our Beefs of the week.

On this episode the boys chat it up with Connor Griffin (16:48) from Connor Griffin Sports and Penn State's CommRadio about the Sixers, college sports, and what it's like returning to a college campus during a pandemic. We have some drama in the MLB and NBA bubble to discuss. As always there is some beef to be hashed out. Stick around till the end to hear Colin and Luke give a Big Brother All-Stars recap heading into the second eviction.

In this episode the guys tear up the NFL Top 100 and talk about the recent moves by the Bucs and Seahawks. They discuss the NBA's countless efforts to avoid shut down and the MLB's countless efforts to look soft as hell. Terry Cruz's sex quote gets us off topic as well as our love for buffalo wings.

SPORTS ARE BACK! The guys get together to discuss MLB opening Day, a new NHL franchise, and bubble basketball. Of course they get off topic when they talk about their beefs, but let's be real who can be upset when SPORTS ARE BACK!

We get off topic with 2014 Little League World Series star now Hampton University Pirate, Mo'ne Davis (35:30) about Crocs, Rita's water ice, and the coolest contact she has in her phone. The guys dive into the newly released Madden NFL 21 ratings as well as what the NHL is doing right and what the MLB is doing wrong. Luke got a new car, Pat is back on his gym grind and Colin has a new enemy. We also have some entertainment news and some viral memes to discuss. 

The guys are back after a short break. They explain why. Luke is burnt again from the beach. Colin fell out rafting and dealt with his worst Karen yet. Pat has plans for college football. We have a recurring guest on as well as two new guests. We get off topic with our discussion about what we would do with Patrick Mahomes big ol' bag of money and our thoughts on honey dew.

This episode the guys hit you with history, neglected news, and their weekly beefs. We have updates on the sports world, including the MLB, NFL and Left Turn League. We review The King of Staten Island and get off topic about porn with our special guest from Couch Locked Movie Club.

In this bonus episode the guys interview Drexel Lacrosse player and NFL blogger for Over Time Heroics, Luke Stansfield. He tells us about his recruiting journey, as well as what it felt like having his season stripped due to Corona. We do a deep dive into the NFL, with a focus on the Eagles of course. We get off topic with what we missed on Tuesdays episode. Kyrie lost his mind while we were talking about him. PS5 preview, as well as Ford announcing a controversial release of a new model. We finally decide a movie to review for next weeks episode.

Today we cover updates on the MLB and NBA, as well as winners from last weeks Left Turn League races. We get off topic and discuss shows that are leaving the air and which shows are figuring out ways around COVID-19. We also discuss who should be the head of police training and the possibly worst 30for30 ever produced. Of course we have a history lesson from Pat, neglected news, and beefs to keep things interesting.

We get off topic with our much needed interview with Penn State basketball player Sam Sessoms (19:23) about #BLM and the current state of our country. Pat is about to start his King Lyon workout plan. Luke is a crispy lobster from his birthday beach trip. And Colin just wants real sports to be back so he can stop gambling on the Left Turn League. We discuss the NBA's approved plan to play in Orlando and we declare our new UFC allegiance since a certain Irishman decided to "retire".  Also, who knew axes took up less space than dumbells? And what would you put in your ideal brown bag lunch?

Staying off topic is the key to this episode as the guys try to keep people at ease with a conversation about the Roy Halladay E:60. They also add a new segment and almost forget about another. Henry Lyon, future group fitness instructor, comes on to talk about his journey and what he think should go down in sports this year. Luke gets revenge on one of his past Beefs.

The pro leagues all have a proposed plan to restart the season and here’s what we think. Some GOATs played golf and we got to watch. The transfer portal is in full swing. Pat no longer cares about the Left Turn League. We are all starting to gamble our money away because sports are almost back, but somehow, we still manage to get off topic. Colin tries to get his record back to .500 for Today in History, and Luke finally might understand what beef of the week is.

The off topic crew discusses Bryce Harper's idea for the MLB season. The Left Turn League is back with no fans. Pat thinks Colin is nuts for his comments on Mike Tyson saying he’s back. The NFL can’t stay out of TMZ’s headlines, but we love it. A kid from Ohio and a funny guy from NYC might make a movie. We can finally stop talking about Jordan, but we are grateful for ESPN giving us some content.

The new team finally has some live sports to talk about with KBO and UFC starting up with no fans. An NBA player got hacked and we decide if it's worse to be a star or rookie who gets hacked. The NFL finds themselves in the news for another uniform, the hypothetical schedule, and for more TMZ reports. Pat and Colin officially want to get off the topic of MJ, but Luke is still committed. History and Beefs also continue to be weekly segments to get us off topic.

Colin and Pat bring in a new member to the off topic team. Luke joins the squad after graduating through a PowerPoint presentation. Pat rattles off some historical events that happened today and gives us a health update. RIP to a GOAT coach. Darren McFadden gets stuck in a drive through and we will tell you how that ends. Colin and Pat aren’t over the MJ doc just yet, but they might be over MJ. Luke gets to share his first Beef of the Week as we get off topic.

Pat gets us off topic with his Today in History, but with a twist. Then we dive deep into the NFL draft picks, technology, the commissioner, and the parents. Two more MJ episodes come and go the way we wish the virus would. And as always, someone’s got beef!

Sports are not happening, but the NFL Draft must go on…Thank God. We are horny for the Jordan Doc, but we get off topic when Pat teaches Colin about Bill Shakespeare with the newest segment “Today in History”. Of course, we have some beef this week, and we serenade you with our first interview with the legend Mike McGinley.

Life at home is not getting any easier as quarantine continues. Pat starts working out while Colin is addicted to an early 2000s computer game. We apologize to ESPN, kinda, but we are sick of Nikes BS. We introduce our first segment with “Beef of the Week” and cast Joe Exotic the Movie. Then we get super off topic and do a movie review of “Molly’s Game”.

Our Debut Episode we get off topic and share our thoughts on COVID-19, how teams are handling it, and our lives back at home with our parents. Nike dropped some new NFL jerseys for Atlanta and Tampa Bay, do we like them? Then Pat teaches Colin about Easter and why he should care.
