It is finally here! The Season One finale of ProcGens is here folks. This one is very special to @LubWub and @CalamityXTJane. A little more than a year ago Caleb’s grandfather, Christy’s husband, passed away unexpectedly. As the doctors were transitioning him between floors in the ICU, our two hosts took a moment to distract themselves with what they assumed would be a fun, quirky mobile game. Yet upon completing Florence, they realized that what they had experienced was far more important.
Join them on the season finale as they talk about this experience, how it has impacted their lives in the days and months following, and how games have always found a way to strike deeper chords with our family clan.
This episode includes a reading of Florence and the Death of my Grandfather

This one is a little late in the tube, sorry about that, but episode 6 of #ProcGens is finally here! We have finished going through the Mass Effect titles, games that we loved so much. Now it is time to turn our focus to Anthem, the most recent - and perhaps most maligned - release from developer BioWare. @CalamityXTJane and @LubWub both played Anthem. They wanted to give it a chance. But something about it just felt so…un-BioWare.
Tune in this week as they talk about why Anthem felt so bad, whether or not they think it will ever recover, and what we want to see BioWare do in the future.

Mass Effect 3 was…divisive. The culmination of a trilogy, it had a lot to tie up. Many weren’t pleased with the ending. On this episode of #ProcGens Caleb (@LubWub) and Christy (@CalamityXTJane) discuss how they felt wrapping up Commander Shepard’s story. The good and the bad, the heart breaking and the endearing.
We talk about what it was like racing against time to save the galaxy, how the Mass Effect 3 helped us deal with trauma in our real lives, partying with all of our friends in the Citadel DLC, and the Indoctrination Theory.

Mass Effect 2 is widely agreed upon as one of the best games released in the last console generation. For @CalamityXTJane it was her first journey into the @masseffect series. That first taste would create a love for a deep and lore filled universe. This week on #ProcGens, Caleb (@LubWub) and Christy talk about how how much they loved the follow up to Mass Effect.
We talk about earning your team’s loyalty, learning to use our Biotic powers, running the suicide mission, and the myriad of wonderful characters we met along the way.

In this episode of #ProcGens Caleb (@LubWub) and Christy (@CalamityXTJane) dive into the game that started it all: Mass Effect. The Mass Effect series holds a very special place in our family’s heart. The first title is where it started for most of us, but it is obviously where the universe started.
We remember what it was like to choose who lives and dies, how we tried to romance specific characters but accidentally romanced others, driving the Mako for hours, and discovering what it meant to have an impact in a whole new universe.
