Ellen Greenberg was a Philadelphia schoolteacher found dead in her apartment in 2011 with dozens of stab wounds. Her controversial death was initially ruled a homicide, then changed to suicide by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's office. The decision has been contested by her family for over a decade, but was again reaffirmed as a suicide after a recent review in October 2025. Kendra Licari is a Michigan mother who was convicted of cyberbullying her own daughter, Lauryn, and her boyfriend, Owen McKenny, by sending them thousands of anonymous, harassing, and sexually explicit text messages.
