Professors Talking Skubala

Have you ever wanted to listen in on your professors while they talked honestly about stuff? Well, now is your chance. I'm a church history professor teaching at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, and this podcast is your invitation to the table. "Professors Talking Skubala" (Greek word used by Paul in Phil. 3:8 politely translated "rubbish") is just that, a group of professors talking about various topics related to current trends. They usually don't at all agree, which is where the fun begins.

When Did Truth Become so Relative?

"When did truth become so relative?" is the first question I ask in this episode. Dan Stiver (Professor of Theology) and Travis Frampton (Professor of Bible) join me in a conversation that leads to flat earthers, Spinoza, Descarte, and yes, our current political environment, among other things.
