Prompt Queens

It's a brick and mortar book shop that is surprisingly busy for 2026 and the in-store Starbucks probably won't take your gift card. So we wrote about it.

Our prompt for this week is a songwriter you may never have heard of. His name is Rich Mullins. He was a songwriter who died back in the 90s but before then, wrote Christian Contemporary Music and then went out on his own to write the real kinds of songs that felt more like him and we dive into his work, talk about his unique writer's voice and send a couple up in thanksgiving for what he did.

You know you want a third installment of the hit movie/musical, "Grease," so you're welcome, we started working on it ourselves.  TUne in to find out which directions we both took in tackling the franchise in our very own ways. And then you get to working on all the different numbers that still need written. WE can make Grease 3 a reality. Together.

It's just a number. 250. Don't worry about it. Our prompt is 250 as in, "tell 250 friends you listen to this podcast."  Next up? Grease 3. So silly. Thank you for listening. Love, Hope and Emily

Neither of us wrote about the stork so rest assured we went different ways on this one. Welcome back to Prompt Queens! We are so glad you stopped by and gave a listen. We encourage you to follow your own creativity and keep that writing up. Rest assured it's not always easy or perfect but getting in the reps is a big part of being a writer. High five. And remember, Grease 3 is coming so mark your calendars.
