Puro Preseason continues as we interview Matt Valentine, owner and founder of USL Dallas. USL Dallas will be kicking off as the USL Championship’s newest team in 2027. Matt was kind enough to call in and talk to us about his grand plans. We talk about stadium plans, the recent USL ownership meeting, and what the new USL premier league division (just announced days ago). Clayton and Shaddock are back! Busy summer schedules have settled down and we’re back to talk SAFC. What have we missed? Then: we talk the last two SAFC games: an awful 0-1 loss at home to lowly Oakland Roots, and a fantastic 2-1 win away at New Mexico. What’s next? First: summer is over… what was your favorite summer reading book?After the exciting game in Louisville, SAFC was back at home, where they defeated Miami 2-1 in the PRINX Cup quarterfinal. Louisville awaits in the Semi Final at home on September 8th. Then, the squad welcomed Copa Tejas rival El Paso and Dani Rojas on Saturday night. A sellout crowd for Spurs night, Family Night, and a big disappointment: a 0-3 stinker. Finally: we preview this week’s home game against struggling Oakland and drop a couple free kicks. Enjoy!
