We're back! Did you miss us? THANK YOU to everyone who dropped us messages on the socials (@qmmunitypod) asking when series 2 of Qmmunity was coming - it's finally here! We were in the process of polishing up all of our great interviews, and then...COVID-19 hit. So we pivoted, and here we are bringing you a socially-distanced version of Qmmunity for you to get involved with during isolation. Join us this week as we catch up on life in lockdown, introduce our new "Swap It Like It's Hot" feature - a media club for you to join in with, and hear a wonderfully honest, raw and moving interview with intersex campaigner Anick. Please note, Anick's interview is very personal, at times challenging and contains details of medical procedures and suicide, though comes with an uplifting message. If you are affected by any of the issues discussed in this episode, you can call or instant message with the LGBT Switchboard on 0300 330 0630 (UK), or text START to 85258 for mental health support from mental health charity Shout. Media References; Anick's documentary 'The Intersex Diaries" (produced with Radio1) is available here Char's recommendation in Swap It Like It's Hot is Sugar Rush, available on 4OnDemand, while Alexis' recommendation is queer cult classic, Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Season Two of Qmmunity is hosted by Char Bailey and Alexis Caught, produced by Seb White of Alphabet Radio in collaboration with Soho Radio. Executive production support from Kevin Morosky and Effie Theos. Our charitable partners are The AKT and Mermaids.

Happy Holidays! Join us for a Christmas Special, as we sit down with some mulled wine and introduce you to some new voices from the Qmmunity team - along the way, we discuss realisations, demisexuality, coming of age, virgo season and...being vanilla at sex parties.  As fun as it can be, the Christmas season can also be tiring & alienating, so if you need to speak to someone, you can call the LGBT+ switchboard on 0300 330 0630, to text SHOUT to 85258 to text chat with Shout! mental health charity. How ever you're spending the time, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and stay tuned for Season Two dropping in the start of the new year. Lots of Love, Qmmunity x Char, Effie, Kevin, Lex, Seb.

Which of the political parties has something to offer us, why should we vote for them, have they got reasons to back up party rhetoric? Who should we be voting for? Join us as we chair a panel discussion between LGBTQ representatives from four British political parties. It's gonna be interesting! Our panellists include representatives from...(presented alphebeticaly...cos you know...avoidance of political bias) LGBT+ Conservatives (Colm Howard-Lloyd) LGBTIQA+ Greens (Benali Hamdache) LGBT+ Labour (Melantha Chittenden) LGBT+ Lib Dems (Adrian Trett) TICKETS HERE Bodies - 28th of July There's a lot of scrutiny of our bodies, isn't there? What shape we are, what size we are, what we do with them, how they look and how they feel. Statistics show that LGBTQ+ people are at higher rates of steroid abuse, eating disorders, and body dysmorphia - so how do we break the stigma and be real, in a #instagay world? How do we learn to love the skin we're in? Our panellists include the wonderful Munroe Bergdof - trans model and activist Travis Alabanza - performance artist, poet and writer TICKETS HERE www.qmmunitypodcast.com Social medias all - @qmmunitypod
