While I was watching the 2024 Paris Olympics, I spotted a photographer using a wheelchair and immediately felt a connection—here was another quad working on the world stage in a creative field. As a fellow quad with a camera rig, I reached to see if he'd want to chat about his experience. We connected over the practical stuff: how he rigs his camera setup, the adaptations that make it all work, and that shared understanding of what it means to pursue something you're passionate about. It was refreshing to talk shop with someone who gets both the technical challenges and the pure satisfaction of doing work you love.
