In this episode, we discuss quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum networking in the context of this week's announcements from Riverlane, IBM, and Cisco.
Today, we have three topics. First is a brief update on the DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative. We spoke at length during the first episode on that topic, and there's a little bit more to say about one company. This last week, I was in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States, to attend the IBM Quantum Developers Conference. I'll have some of the news from that, along with comments. And then, mysteriously, I've got a topic labeled zeros and ones. You'll have to see what that's about.
The news with commentary about quantum computing companies moving to Stage B of the DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI), and Quantinuum's introduction of its Helios quantum computing system.
