Quarter Life Crisis Radio

Hi! My name is Lucy Touche, and I am 21 years old. I'm currently going through the same issues as everyone else my age, and I've come to realise that not many people are open to talking about this stuff. With this podcast, I hope to provide a platform for discussing mental health and all the other problems faced by people of my generation. I hope to interview a wide range of people from experts, to other students and have casual discussions about our own experiences and challenges in life. All the science and the facts are already out there, what's missing are the real-life anecdotes of ordinary people who have to deal with extraordinary challenges. We are @qlcradio on Instagram. Drop me a message, even if you don't know me, if you think you have something you want to say. Also, send me suggestions of people to talk to and topics to talk about! Thanks for your support :)

To Uni or not to Uni?

Hello everyone and welcome back to QLC radio! In this episode we are joined by our friends Lewis and John to talk about finishing school and deciding what the next step is. For those of you that don't know, I have recently ended my degree in Arabic in order to pursue a more vocational subject as an older student at university. But is university really necessary? Are apprenticeships the answer? How does family/peer pressure/schools effect our lives greatest decisions? Have a listen and let us know your thoughts.

Mental health at Drama school

In this episode, Peter and I interview our good friend Tattie! She took a courageous leap and decided to not attend a traditional university in order to pursue her dream of being a musical theatre performer. We chat about her emotional experiences whilst training, and also mental health in the industry as a whole! Don't forget to like/comment/subscribe, or even share this episode if you really like it! Also, email/DM us with any suggestions for future content, or any feedback you might have :)

Mental health in London universities

In this first episode, I am joined by my good friend Peter Bryant. We met through a mutual friend but soon became close over our shared struggles with our mental health. In this episode, we discuss the positive and negative attributes of this great city and the challenges we both faced whilst trying to navigate our lives in London. It's a little clunky and awkward at times, but bear with me, I'm just a newbie :)
