Queens Comic Podcast

It's the Queens Comic Podcast 79th episode, and man are we ever late! This time around, Billy and Ian take a break from real life to show off some books and discuss some upcoming shows. Wanna see some Nancy and Sluggo books? Of course you do, what else you got going on? We've got kids comics, adult comics, mainstream comics, underground comics, normal comics, weird comics and everything in between. Billy talks about his experiences 'meeting' Frank Miller and hanging out with Rob Liefeld too, so this episode has that going for it. Oh, and there's recaps for the recent Bronx Anime And Comic Expo and the recent Hot Flips show.Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicpartyCheck us out on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@queenscomicpodcastOr hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com

It's the Queens Comic Podcast 78th episode - we're almost as old as the POTUS! In this extra-disjointed and super rambling episode, Ian talks about his vacation and shows off a book that finishes a major run for him, along with a cool ninja magazine, a nice James O'Barr The Crow rarity and a few other books. Billy shows off his latest key book acquisition and his recent pick ups as well. Not enough? There's plenty of talk here about the recent Royal Collectibles Lot-Con, the upcoming Hot Flips show with Rob Liefeld, and upcoming Queens Comic Party events. Oh, and Billy tells a story about throwing a greaseball into a wall. You really can't live without this, so get to it, boppers!Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicpartyCheck us out on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@queenscomicpodcastOr hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com

It's the Queens Comic Podcast 77th episode (maybe) - and yeah, fine, we're late again. Or are we early? Schedules and time mean nothing to Ian and Billy as they ramble on about comics and comic related stuff. This time around, they can't remember if they talked about the Staten Island show or not but it was fun! There's also some of this weeks books gone over, Ian spends too much time talking about the new Robert Crumb Art & Beauty hardcover and falls to convince Billy that Hideshi Hino's Hell Baby is awesome. Not enough? There's some more weird manga talk, discussion about the new 100 Bullets series from Vertigo, thoughts on modern horror anthologies like Hello Darkness, and lots more. Billy shows off two big keys while Ian just has a random assortment of weird stuff like usual (though that Faust flex definitely counts as a bigger book). Also, don't assume when Billy's screen goes black that the podcast is over - we just thought it would be funny to leave it in.Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicpartyOr hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com#comics #comicbooks #queenscomicparty #queenscomicpodcast #truecrime #comichaul #comicconventions #horrorcomics #robertcrumb #eightball #deadpool #horrorcomics

It's the Queens Comic Podcast 76th episode - the true crime special!Billy and Ian are kinda late, but better late than never! This weirdly disjointed talk goes over the recent Forest Hills High School Comic Show, the recent Queens Comic Party and the Lehigh Valley Comic Show - so many shows! Lots of rad pick ups to check out in this one, and some true crime stories! Who messed with Ian's car? Who stabbed the guy outside the Mexican restaurant? Why was Billy annoyed with the nachos? So many questions! On top of that, there's news inside about upcoming Queens Comic Party events and this coming weekend's Staten Island Comic Fest - be there!Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicpartyOr hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com

It's the Queens Comic Podcast 75th episode spectacular! In this installment, Ian and Billy rant a lot. They always rant a lot, especially Billy, but this time they go way off topic from the start. What begins as a discussion about the possibilities of Big Apple Comic Con this year soon turn into a misguided discussion of Lorenzo Lamas films and independent Canadian action films of the eighties, but they do eventually get back to comics and show off this week's pick ups, which really aren't as exciting as last week's pick ups.But it's all in good fun. Also, Ian gets his facts about The Snake Eater trilogy wrong, because he's old and his brain is turning to mush and Billy talks about some of the upcoming plans for the Queens Comic Party this summer and fall.Plug your eyes and ears into this, can you dig it?Follow us on Instagram @queenscomicpodcast / @thequeenscomicpartyCheck us out on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@queenscomicpodcastOr hit up our website at http://www.queenscomicparty.com
