Description

What is queer coding? How about queer baiting? And why is it okay to say queer now - it was an insult when I was a kid! Finding common ground with kids as a parent is tough enough without a new and specific vocabulary - but a willingness to learn about these terms and issues is one of the best ways a straight parent can support an LGBTQ+ kid. We hope that listening in as we discuss these topics can help you - whether you're parent or child, straight or not - strike up your own discussions at home. And if you're a kid who's not quite able to talk about these things at home yet, we hope we can make you feel loved and supported by welcoming you into our conversations.
