Revelation 22:1-21
Chapter 22 concludes the Book of
Revelation with . . .
1. The river of life and the tree of life
(22:1-2).
2. The throne of God and the Lamb and his

Word (22:6-9).
4. The book is to remain unsealed
(22:10-11).
5. The promise of Christ’s second coming

as judge of all things.

2. The fallen angels who rebelled with
Satan.
3. The redeemed concerning their rewards.

Millennialism
From the Greek language meaning
"a thousand". In theology the teaching that Christ will reign "over" or "upon" the earth for

Christ’s 2nd Coming
The doctrine of the blessed hope and return
of the Savior to the earth.
Revelation 19:6-21
Christ’s 2nd Coming to the earth will bring
about the . . .
1. Marriage supper of the Lamb to his
Bride the Church (19:6-10).
2. Literal bodily return of Christ with his
armies of heaven to execute God’s
wrath (19:11-16).
3. Destruction of the Antichrist and his
kingdom, the false prophet and the
evil kings of the earth and their

Babylon

golden bowls of God’s wrath.
5.The glory and power of a sovereign God
that filled the sanctuary.
Harvest
the time of the year when a mature
crop is reaped and gathered in.
Revelation 14:14-20
1. The rapture of the church at the end of
history (14:14-16).
2. The revelation of God’s wrath upon the
lost at the end of history (14:17-20).
3. The 14 biblical reasons for the post-
tribulation rapture and return of

Angels

Antichrist
Anyone who denies that Jesus is God and the final human ruler of the world.

1. An evil ruler who is empowered by Satan.
2. Mortally wounded and healed as he blasphemes God and exercises
power for 42 months.
3. Determined to destroy the saints, rule the world and receive worship
from all mankind.
4. Worshiped by those whose names are not written in the Book of Life.
5. The one who takes believers into captivity and ultimately death.
Metaphor
