June Dairy Month has added significance for her this year because she also won an IHSA state title this month as head softball coach of Ridgewood, a co-op between Alwood and Cambridge high schools in Henry County.  Her parents left the dairy farm June 1 to make the long trip to Peoria to watch her coach in the state championship game.
