This is it: the episode about the mountain. You've probably already heard us talk about the incredible experience we had in Utah a couple weekends ago, how training for it brought us closer together, and accomplishing it set our hearts on fire. This is a unique recording, because not only will you hear from us as we prepare to summit this beast (thirteen times!), but also a few candid recordings we took while we're in the thick of it. This is one you won't wanna miss a minute of. What are you even doing still reading this? Join us today for another conversation about everything and nothing - we hit on wide-ranging topics such as sending your kids to camp (and what REALLY went down one night with Ford vs Rob), meeting teens where they're at (even if it's a social platform you've never heard of before), and the current number one movie in America that may be named either Hobbs and Shaw or Calvin and Hobbes. By popular demand, this week we're talking all about codependence - our history with it, how we work to overcome it every day, and what you can do to work toward a more healthy attachment to your partner. This episode is a little different from what you're used to hearing on RISE Together, but we had an absolute blast recording it! That's because today we're talking with some of the mega-talented staff here at Hollis Co HQ about love, marriage, and singlehood in the 20-teens (is that what we're calling it?) Four of our hardworking teammates (including a couple you might recognize from social media or RISE conferences!) took time out of their busy schedules to get emotional, honest, and raw with us on topics ranging from how to use dating apps to how to help your partner be better in your relationship. If you have relationship questions you might want to ask in a future podcast - make sure you send them to us over social media!--My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! This week, by popular demand, we're talking about confrontation styles. How do you fight with your partner? Do you aim to wound, or are you trying to find a peaceful resolution? Maybe your fighting style is to avoid fighting at all costs. Everyone's confrontation style is a little different, and oftentimes how we fight with our current partner is informed by the traumas of our past - past relationships, childhood modeling, and even media. This is a great episode to listen to with your partner as we dig into some hard truths and challenge YOU to get real about what you're holding onto and what you can stand to let go.--My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! We built a gym in our garage! You might be wondering, why did we do that, or maybe how did we do that? Well, we'll tell you. This episode is for the people that are interested in taking their health or their fitness to the next level. We discuss the pros and cons of our at home gym, our individual exercise habits and what gets us motivated to get our workouts in. Making our gym has had such a positive impact on our lives that we thought we would share the why's, the how's, and the what's that went into making our gym, in case you were considering it too.--My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! Recently, we lost someone close to us. That loss made us reflect on our lives and what we hold as important. We can all get stuck in those negative emotions we associate with grief if we don't give them some sort of outlet. For us, that outlet looks like talking about it. How do we deal with grief? How can loss create a space in which to examine and reevaluate your own life? Are you proud of the life you're living? These are just some of the tough questions we cover today. At some point in time, every single one of you who listens to this podcast will deal with the topic of grief and have to address it in order to maintain healthy relationships in your life. So, even though we didn't want to have this hard conversation, we did, because it matters. If you're interested in hearing my interview with Joe Biden mentioned today, it is episode 83: 'My Conversation with Joe Biden' of the RISE podcast.--My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! Today we are talking about finances. We feel it is incredibly important to be aligned financially as a couple, especially when it comes to the financial goals you are chasing. Do you want to go on a vacation? To pay off that student debt? From our experiences living debt-free to scaling a company, we discuss what it really takes to achieve those financial goals.  If you liked this episode, we always want to hear feedback from you guys and the way we get that feedback is through social media! So, screenshot this episode, tag Dave and I and tell us what was helpful or what you'd like to hear us dig into more! --My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! Thank you for this. My dad passed away last week and I am struggling. I had been at RISE just weeks prior and I kept asking myself "what would Rachel do to keep moving through this pain?".

I'm totally Rachel and I can understand a lot with this conversation. Including the interrupting my partner. It's all in good faith, tho. I want to hear more of Dave's perception and how he felt in the shift in regards to Rachel. Excited to read the book!
