You guys. I know I’ve said this before, but this is truly one of the best interviews I’ve ever had the privilege to participate in. If you aren’t familiar with Lisa Kleypas, she is a New York Times Best-selling author of one of the best series of historical romance books ever written. And even more than that, Lisa has been a brilliant navigator of the confusing world of publishing, and I’m so thankful I was able to talk to her and share some of that wisdom with you. Whether you are a children’s book author or aspire to write the next great novel, Lisa’s experiences will help guide you to literary success.Check out Lisa’s latest amazing book, DEVIL’S DAUGHTER at LisaKleypas.comAnd follow her @LisaKleypasBoth upcoming RISE conferences are sold out, but Health & Wellness Day tickets for Minneapolis and Dallas are still available! Today on the RISE Podcast I’m giving you another peek inside my monthly coaching series. This excerpt comes from the 2-hour business coaching class, and in it I talk about what you really need to get started on your dream. So many first-time (and second-time and even sixth-time) business owners assume they need way more than they actually do to start their business right away, and that ends in something I’ve seen way too many times; talented, promising businesses going into debt immediately, or even worse, not starting at all. To avoid that heartbreak, I spent some time detailing exactly what you ACTUALLY need to get yourself into business right now. If you enjoyed this clip, it’s just a small sliver of the 2 hours of live teaching I do every month for business coaching and the 2 hours I do for life coaching. Life coaching is for those looking to improve in their relationships, health, and personal life, and business coaching is for those looking to grow a revenue base, find new clients, and market effectively. Today on the RISE Podcast, I’m talking to my friend Nick Santonastasso. Nick is one of the most sought-after motivational speakers in the world, a bodybuilder, and a model. If that wasn’t enough, Nick is one of four people alive with a rare genetic condition called Hanhart Syndrome, and was born without legs and with one arm. But since birth, Nick has never let that, or anything else get in his way. He’s one of the most inspiring people on the planet, and I’m so excited to let him tell his story to you. Nick will be a featured speaker at our “Own Your Present” day at RISE, so make sure to grab your tickets, info below!Get tickets for Dallas —> https://www.thehollisco.com/rise-weekend-dallasGet tickets for Minneapolis —> https://www.thehollisco.com/rise-weekend My new book Girl, Stop Apologizing is available now! l love shoe dog! That make me so happy that you mentioned it! It does really show people that it takes faiure to win. I also just did my very first Instagram story about who I am and how unnerving it was to talk to camera and tell people what I do. it was horrible lol but I did it! and now I'm a little less scared and I'm going to celebrate that today. thanks for all you do! love you! 😍

This episode is not about founding your own nonprofit (what I was hoping for), rather, Rachel highlighting the nonprofit work that a friend is doing.

if there are nine of 10 speakers that are white and one black that is actually a perfect representation of the average community. I encourage you but you need to do your research and not just go with what's popular.

Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings

Paul Beriault I agree with you, this whole attitude of "there's too many white people here, therefore you are racist" is in itself the most blatantly racist attitude I could imagine. Just imagine if they tried this against any other ethnicity, there would be riots and front page stories everywhere.

Overall I loved this podcast. I am big into health and wellness myself, and as a physician, I stress it all the time with my patients. Personally, I am a fan of eating every 2 and a half to 3 hours. I think it controls my hunger well and I eat balanced macros at each meal. My only negative comment is how Kelly compared quinoa to orange juice and saying that they are the same nutritionally, which they are not.

I'm starting out as an "Event Creator ". I organized a women's conference in my community just 2 weeks ago. It was a big success, and it has fired a desire in me to create similar events. This episode was fantastic, as it outlined what I need to have and do to start up a business. Thank you!
