Um, what's with the last 37 seconds of this episode? I pulled over my truck to post this comment, I'm that curious.

The new Punk Rock culture??! Bitch please! There is NOTHING punk rock about any of this. They need to do their research about what punk rock stood for and the roots of punk rock. This is a malignant cancer.

I miss the music only YouTube. All this other crap is garbage.

It’s all pretty cathartic. It’s a malignant cancer frankly.

This started off as an interesting storey about flaws in YouTube but went down it's own wormhole looking for a storey that at best was weak. Regulation is needed is the storey not a conspiratorial concept of a big bad company.

they deliberately conflate "Far Right Extremist" with the word "right wing"... NOT EVEN on the same planet in world view. there is not a sentient liberal alive that can defeat a conservative in a debate... these people have no facts no data and resort to calling everyone who disagrees a racist in the end.

Fascinating, but the abrupt endings are a little irritating. Also... it’s a little disturbing that it’s taking so long to introduce the idea (if it’s even coming) about how powerful the LIES that these YouTubers are propagating have become! Half truths and twisted truths aren’t TRUTH.

I mean, I generally agree with the premise of this show. the internet/youtube exposes you to information that constantly reinforces an narrative you want.. BUT, it's so obvious why this podcast is leading you in a RIGHTWING extremist direction. This is so true of LEFTWING people as well if not more.. they are far greater consumers of online media and dominate every platform. THIS IS SOOOO BIASED! typical NEW YORK TIMES propagandist intent... dumb

I hope to hear more about this culture of YouTube beyond 'the outsider radicalized'. Not to make light of this phenomenon but it is really the only perspective I've ever heard analyzed. There are millions of us out there who have been shockingly impacted but not radicalized. Heres hoping to hear more nuanced perspectives.

A very promising beginning. And very relatable to what’s going on right now.
