Radio Rounds - Radio Rounds

"Radio Rounds" is an engaging medical talk show that provides listeners with a unique glimpse into the world of medicine and health care. It is produced entirely by medical students at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and is the first radio show of its kind in the country. Radio Rounds airs on Sunday afternoons from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST, and Podcasts of the show are available on iTunes the next day, on Monday afternoons. Each week, the show features a variety of guests -- physicians of various specialties, admissions directors, students in different stages of their medical education, and community leaders. Physicians who appear on the show tell listeners their stories from their careers in medicine. The show is highly interactive, featuring a mystery case of the week, prizes, website polls, medical headlines, listener calls and emails, and much more.  Radio Rounds is geared towards the medical and pre-medical communities, as well as the general public interested in medicine and health care issues.     Feel free to send in your ideas and suggestions for the show by emailing the show's hosts, Avash Kalra and Lakshman Swamy, at contact@radiorounds.org
