Tina Finnegan, Associate Director of Career Communities, speaks with Professor Mona Al-Amin, previous Chair of the Healthcare Administration Department from 2021-2022, in this insightful interview. Professor Al-Amin has a Master of Public Health and a Ph.D. in Risk, Insurance, and Healthcare Management. She spent the majority of her career researching hospital performance. She has recently published two papers on the factors that determined which hospitals had lower COVID-19 mortality rates. She currently teaches "Heath Systems I" and "Healthcare Operations Management and Performance Improvement"  at Suffolk University and is also currently serving as the co-chair of the American College of Healthcare Executives Higher Learning Network. A great design can make all the difference. Take Ramplify’s album art, for instance. When we set out to create this show last year, we wanted to create an image that conveyed both impact and inspiration.
