In this episode, newest Florida resident, John Sneade joins Duff and Larry. They kick it off with a Bourbon tasting. Larry then tells a story of drinking all day in Tennessee only to find out 20 minutes before having to leave, that the bar had several hard to find bourbons that he had been hoping to try. The guys talk kids, golf, more bourbon, and then Sneade heads out for a trip to Disney. Which we find out are his tradeoff for getting to golf every weekend. It's a great listen!
We're back! After a few weeks on hiatus, Larry and Duff return to tell stories from their recent travels. Larry describes how he thought he got robbed at a cheer competition. Duff and Joanna talk their recent trip to Asheville, NC, among other fun stories. Later they pick their Superbowl winners, and give their thoughts on Taylor Swift being shown during Chiefs games. In this 50th episode, Larry and Duff discuss the end of the Bill Belichick ERA in New England. They give their thoughts on the future of the Patriots and potential landing spots for Belichick. Then, they update their Superbowl picks now that the NFL playoff are upon us. Next, the guys pick their ultimate stand up comedy show by picking 3 comedians from any era, dead or alive. The guys do the same for music, picking their ultimate festival concert. Finally, with Bill Belichick leaving New England, the guys quiz each other on legends that left their original teams to finished their career in another uniform. It's a good one. Enjoy!
In this New Year's episode, the guys are joined by their wives Joanna and Megan. They share funny stories from the holiday season. They reveal their top music from 2023 as broken down by their listening apps of choice. They go over how they did on their 2023 resolutions. Some make new resolutions for 2024, so, just renew last years. It's a fun episode. Enjoy!
In this episode, Q and Jesse join Duff and Larry for some banter. The guys touch on the highlights of their first solo appearances on the podcast. Jesse, Q and Duff talk about their past few days of golfing, and how many gators they saw. Jesse then tells the story of his dad piercing a buddies ear with an ice pick. Q tells some stories from working in the ER. Then Q describes how Jeese once sent him to the ER, while mgolfing. The guys then 'remind' Q of the previous nights events, which his brain stopped remembering. It's a great episode. Enjoy!
In this episode, the first in the new studio, Larry and Duff discuss a lot of 'Man Shit'. Duff describes a cornhole tournament he and his brother Tony played in. Then Duff and Larry talk grilling. Larry tells how he smoked a spatchcocked turkey for thanksgiving. The guys tell there best/favorite ways to cook steaks. Then the guys discuss bourbon. Larry tries to make the case that he isn't 'drinking' more now that he drinks less beer and more bourbon. The guys end the episode discussing the college football playoff and give their thoughts on Florida State getting snubbed. It's a good one. Enjoy!
In this episode Duff is fresh off a "hunting" trip. Larry is not so fresh off a Vegas trip. Duff describes what many of his friends call hunting at a petting zoo. Duff Hunt! Larry gives a wildly unpopular opinion about fishing. Then Larry discusses his week in Las Vegas at the SEMA show and how they closed down 2 different establishments in one nights (I thought the city never closes?) and why they were denied entry to a swanky cigar bar. On this week's banter, Tony and Mae Mastrorio tell us about their new podcast Dot Doms & Hot Moms. Their podcast centers around discussing new start-ups, telling the origin story of some unique, popular or famous companies, and shining a spotlight on different content creators and influencers. After discussing how their podcast started, we learn about Tony's background and his own experiences trying to get funding for, and starting his own start up. Then we change gears and discuss how Tony and Mae met and a little about how they ended up living in Florida. Larry then tries to brainstorm with Tony on a start up they can all work on together. Finally, we learn about Mae's background. We learn how her path lead to working at a beloved non-profit and we get a great story about Mae getting lost in Australia and touring Asia. Doop then tells a story about an out of place question he was asked on a recent job interview. In the Season 1 Finale Duff and Larry crank the cuteness factor up to 1,000,000 bring on Duff's nephews Lincoln and Russ and Larry's Daughter Emma. They talk Lincoln's sports and school achievements, Emma's Cheer, Tumbling and trip to the Taylor Swift concert and Russ tells us which of his parents is the better cook and the better driver! In This Episode, Megan and Joanna join Larry and Duff for some quality Banter. This episode had to be split into 2 parts. In part 1, Joanna tries picking at Larry's love for hazy IPA's by discussing how great the recent "sour" beers they've tried have been. Then, Larry talks about his trip over to Daytona for "Jeep Beach" and getting to drive on and in the Speedway. Megan details going to Taylor Swift's ERA's Tour. Duff describles a wedding he went to and tries to find out why his alcohol tolerance level can sometimes be unpredictable. They then discuss what each like to do when their spouce is out of town.
