Austin St. John is back in the headlines and again it's for all the wrong reasons. The Japanese American director and producer best known for his work on Power Rangers from the mid-1990s up through 2009 before heading to Japan and working on iconic tokusatsu franchises. The project is about a metal band that gets abducted by aliens and granted superpowers. It has raised more than $4,000, twice its initial goal.
