Great godly men and women are both rare finds. Yet God shares the words of the Shulamite: "Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men." And really, this is the mirror of Proverbs 31:10, "An excellent wife, who can find?" In our world today, it can seem there's a shortage of both. However, in every generation, God raises up great godly young men and women. This week's podcast, covers chapter 2 of the Song. I trust it will be of encouragement to you. There's so much in Scripture for women to learn about submission, following, respecting, loving, and forgiving the men in our lives. God gives commands to us, but He also gives examples for us. God holds up one particular woman, Sarah, as an example to follow. He reveals her strengths and weaknesses, her triumphs and failures, her life of faith and rebellion. I introduced this faithful woman last week on the podcast and on this week's podcast we continue our journey with her. www.audreybroggi.com
Don't let the title of this podcast fool you! Women are leaders as well but in a different way. This week we talk about our very special calling as we support, help, encourage, influence, and follow the leadership of men. audreybroggi.com
Though man failed in every realm, God did not give up on His plan. God's heart is to redeem. We begin to see this redemption unfold in this week's podcast.audreybroggi.com
Though God created man, commanded the man, gave him a job, and gave him a woman to help him - man fails in every realm! Why? Because man disobeyed God, sin entered the world and everything changed. Men are not perfect and neither are we. This week on the podcast, we talk about how sin messed everything up and next podcast we'll talk about how even with man's failure, God kept His plan.audreybroggi.com
Aren't you glad He did?? With all the negative talk about men in our culture, it's so good to see it was God's idea to create them in the first place! Genesis chapter 1 gives the overview of creation. In the second chapter, details unfold - especially how God created the man, commanded the man, and gave him a job to do. After that, we see how God made the woman and brought her to the man and together they have a great job to do! Join me for this week's podcast as we talk about MEN!audreybroggi.com
My 15-year-old granddaughter, Claire, joined me for this week's podcast! We talked about her path from homeschool to Mount Paran Christian, her walk with the Lord, making decisions, flag football, what she loves about her siblings, and so much more. So glad she's my granddaughter! In this week's podcast, I had the opportunity to talk with two of my granddaughters, AudreyKate and Evangeline, as they have made the journey from school at home to school away from home. They started at Academy31 this past fall in Raleigh, North Carolina and I had the best time in interviewing them. I spoke with them in June as they were anticipating the change - you can listen to that episode here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/rare-but-real/id1599342968?i=1000659188829 You can also find out about Academy31 here: https://www.academy31.org/ I trust you'll be encouraged! audreybroggi.com

Mary was chosen by God to carry not only her Savior, but our Savior. She was also chosen to raise Him as a baby and as a child. Something happened when He was 12 that she didn't quite understand, at that time. But she continued to grow in her faith and her understanding because she pondered and treasured everything in her heart. We talk about that this week on the podcast as we see her changing role in His life. He was about his Father's business. We watch her all the way to the cross and even afterwards. As always, I hope this week's podcast encourages you audreybroggi.com
In this week's podcast, I continue talking about Mary, but also talk a lot about Joseph. Such a beautiful picture of what God had in mind when He created man and woman. As always, I hope you are encouraged as you listen audreybroggi.com
It's the Christmas season and what a perfect time to look at the life of Mary, the mother of Jesus. In this week's podcast, we start the journey of drawing out 18 qualities of her life from Scripture. I'm so thankful God tells us so much about her and I trust this week's podcast will encourage you. Next week we will finish our look into her life audreybroggi.com
What’s going to happen if our godly women today don’t invest in the lives of the next generation of young women? I think about this often. So many young women don’t grow up in families that reflect what a biblical family should be. This generation is consumed by social media and influencers, yet God says the primary influencers should be the godly older women in the church—women who are not like Lot’s wife, in love with the world rather than the Lord. Young women need, as they always have, older women who understand what God’s Word teaches about being created as a woman, who have walked faithfully with Him, learned to bring their emotions under His control, and have wisdom to pass on to the young women following them. Here’s the thing: today’s young women are, in many ways, a motherless generation—both in the home and in the church. Some may dismiss me as just an old lady, but that doesn’t matter. As long as God gives me breath, I will continue teaching His truth. This week’s podcast features a message I shared with women at a conference in Dallas, Texas. I trust it will encourage you. audreybroggi.com
God created all things for His glory and His pleasure. For the first 19 years of my life, I knew God loved me but I didn't understand that He found pleasure in me. When I grew in my understanding of this principle, my life was forever changed. As a child, God orchestrated an event in my life to show me I was a sinner in need of salvation. He drew me to Himself. Then later, He used a great heartbreak to sharpen my vision, give me focus, and to make my heart beat for eternity. Both of these moments in my life happened during the Christmas season. I hope this podcast encourages you and deepens your understanding that you, too, were created for His glory and He finds pleasure in you. I grabbed some time with my daughter-in-law, Chesed, and her girls as they were on their way to Fripp Island to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family. I'm so thankful my son, Jeremy and his family, stopped here first! We had an evening and morning together. It was so fun to gather the girls for a podcast - we talked about many random things! Like ... what their fall has been like - school and activities and schedules- even the road trip from DC to Seabrook! And I have to say I just listened because that part of the podcast is so entertaining! Some of their thoughts gathered around the theme of time and how it is such a gift. God is always working in our lives whether we are 9 or 66. As always, I hope this very fun podcast encourages you in your walk with the Lord And below is the link where you can find the book Chesed mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/Treasury-Thanksgiving-Illustrated-Poetry-Praise/dp/1629959707 audreybroggi.com

Women are house builders. Proverbs 9:1 says, "Wisdom has built her house . . . " Verse 10 says : "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." This week's podcast will help us understand some choices we must make to be wise house builders. www.audreybroggi.com
Proverbs 24:3–4 states this: "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches." God is so kind to trust women to build homes whose rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. As we build our homes, we are strengthening the country, and we have a major influence in the world. When we do this, we are bringing honor to the Lord. On this week's podcast, we focus on what it means to be a biblical housebuilder. I trust it encourages you. www.audreybroggi.com
The poem "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle is the Hand that Rules the World" was written in 1865 and although the phrase remains, the poem has long faded from memory. As you listen to this week's podcast, you will hear a lot from the book of Proverbs, you will hear the poem, and by God's grace, you will be renewed in your heart about what it means to walk with God moment by moment doing the things God has called you to do. And one of those things is rocking the cradle. The world may not notice your faithfulness in the home, but God does. And it matters. www.audreybroggi.com

Thank you for sharing your family with us. I've listened to the first two episodes. As a mom of 2 daughters (ages 14 and 10) and five sons (ages 17, 8, 7, 5, and 2), my heart's desire is for them to marriage strong Christians and all become friends with each other. I've struggled with my extended family these last two years especially as many have seen all things related to covid through such a different lens than I have. I know there will always be differences in families but my prayer is that my child would grow in the grace and knowledge of their Heavenly Father and one day have families of their own who honor Him. Your family gives me such inspiration.
