This is a really exciting episode that brings together science, nature, Spiritual Physics, personal development… Scientists have proposed a new law of nature that explains the evolution of everything in the universe, from stars and planets to Life to AI. The law of increasing functional information says that complex systems become more complex over time by selecting for functions that help them survive or thrive. In Spiritual Physics, we would call this the Law of Complexity. Complexity creates space. And as you become more complex, you can do more with so much less because you are at a new level of evolution. This is where you divinitize matter. When you try to hold back your evolution, everything feels hard. In this episode, I walk you through the four stages of complexity so you can consciously guide incremental change into long-lasting evolution with ever greater evolution. Topics Covered about turning change into evolution * New Law of Nature discovered proves our Universe evolves. * Law of Complexity in Spiritual Physics. * The stages of change necessary to have lasting evolution. * When you evolve into greater  complexity, you can do more with less energy. **About ReConnect with Plant Wisdom podcast** Ancient and modern knowledge from biology to spirituality about the wondrous ways plants help you lead a Naturally Conscious life. **Join the Naturally Conscious Community** Let's talk more in the only online ecosystem that nourishes plant reawakening for enhanced evolution and collaboration with our plant friends. In this conversation with eco-therapist and author Clara Schroeder, we explore what happens when you stop trying to "fix" nature and start remembering you are nature. We talk about everyday, practical ways to reconnect—whether you're in a forest, a city park, or standing by your kitchen windowsill with a houseplant. If you've felt anxious, lonely, or creatively flat, this episode offers a grounded path back to belonging and resilience. What You'll Learn About Nature Therapy for Anxiety 🌱 Ecotherapy 101: invite the land to co-lead your healing (even in cities). 🌱 Micro-rituals that work: breath, morning beverage gratitude, and "place-based" noticing. 🌱 Houseplants as teachers of adaptation, reciprocity, and rhythm. 🌱 Community matters: we're not meant to do this alone. ✨ Resources ✨ 🌱 Expanded Show Notes [https://tigrillagardenia.com/podcast] 🌱 Clara's book: Re-Nature: How Nature Helps Us Feel Better and Do Better [https://www.claraschroeder.com/book] 🌱 Naturally Conscious Community (NCC) — discussions, classes, live events [https://community.tigrillagardenia.com] 🌱 Sprouts Writing & Creativity Group [https://tigrillagardenia.com/sprouts-writing-and-creativity-group] 🌱 Plant Wisdom Book Club [https://tigrillagardenia.com/plant-wisdom-book-club] 🔗 Connect & Explore More 🌿 Website [https://tigrillagardenia.com/] 🌿 Contact [https://tigrillagardenia.com/contact-tigrilla-gardenia/] 🌿 Shop Eco-Conscious Partners [https://tigrillagardenia.com/shop] Socials 📸 Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/tigrillagardenia/?hl=en] 📘 Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/tigrillagardenia] 💼 LinkedIn [https://it.linkedin.com/in/tigrillagardenia?trk=public_post_feed-actor-name] ▶️ YouTube [https://www.youtube.com/@tigrillagardenia] 🎵 Credits Opening + Closing music by @Cyberinga and Poinsettia
Cities don't have to fight nature—they can breathe with it.  In this conversation with artist–ecologist Josh Harrison, we explore cities as living ecosystems: cooling with plants, capturing stormwater, and designing with indigenous stewardship in mind.  We go beyond "green decor" to talk symbiogenesis, circular materials, and what shifts when we remember: I am nature, and I have a role to play. When Sarah Russo and I sat down, we knew we were going deep—and we did. Together we explored her graphic novel Herbs for the Apocalypse, a raw and powerful work that blends science, punk aesthetics, and plant wisdom into a call for revolution. We talked about what happens when plants with great power meet human fear, about how creativity becomes a collaboration with our green allies, and about the beauty of sacrifice as plants show us daily.  This conversation isn't just about herbs or apocalyptic futures—it's about resilience, resistance, and reimagining our relationship with plants as kin and co-conspirators. This is a provocative exploration of what it means to listen, to co-create, and to allow plants to challenge our assumptions about beauty, power, and survival. Topics Covered about The Apocolypse & Revolution ➡️ The creative process behind Herbs for the Apocalypse as a plant-human collaboration. ➡️ How plants embody sacrifice and resilience, modeling true revolution. ➡️ The tension between criminalizing powerful plants and learning from them. ➡️ Why plant communication expands far beyond science into lived, creative experience. I sit down with regenerative garden designer and landscape architect Matthew Mehuys to rethink what a "garden" actually is. We move past domination language and into relationship—how to design living spaces where humans, plants, soil, fungi, and wildlife co-create. We unpack low-maintenance (read: ecosystem-literate) design, right plant/right place, and succession as the real secret to beauty with ease.  We also touch garden history (from walled formality to naturalistic planting), why suburbs can be biodiversity hotspots, and how companies benefit when biophilic spaces nurture people, not just property values. If you've ever felt the tension between aesthetics and aliveness, this one will shift your vocabulary—and your planting plan. Is your intuition is truly "yours," or is it a conversation with the living field all around you?  In this episode, I sit down with Laura Alyn—a true polymath, hula dancer, scientist, and plant communicator—for a deep exploration of intuition, plant consciousness, and what it means to be truly present with our bodies and our kin. We talk about how plants teach us to trust subtle signals, integrate the wisdom of art and science, and dissolve the old boundaries between "woo" and "rigor."  Laura and I dig into how embracing all your senses—physical, subtle, and imaginative—can transform how you relate to nature, your creativity, and even your business. Plus, we share stories of how movement, mythology, and collective fields are reshaping how we know ourselves. Curious? This conversation is for anyone ready to experience intuition, plant communication, and self-awareness in a whole new light. This episode is a deep dive into healing what I call the "original trauma" — our collective disconnection from nature and ourselves. I talk with mental health expert Julie Brams about ecopsychology, forest therapy, and the emerging field she prefers to call Earth-centered psychology. We explore why modern psychology often misses this core disconnection and how reconnecting with the more-than-human world can be profoundly healing. If you're ready to heal from disconnection and embrace your nature as nature, this conversation will light your path. Topics Covered about Earth-Centered Psychology ➡️ The original trauma is our artificial separation from Earth, fueling much of human suffering. ➡️ Ecopsychology and Earth-centered psychology focus on repairing this disconnect through nature-based practices. ➡️ Forest therapy is about nature leading the healing, with guides facilitating connection, not control. ➡️ Rediscovering embodied sensing beyond words helps us reconnect deeply, even amid modern technology. ➡️ Julie's book The Nature-Embedded Mind invites us to explore a new way of thinking that can heal ourselves and the planet. If you've ever felt unseen in a world built for conformity, this conversation invites you to remember your place in the wild and welcome the magic of mutual recognition with other kin.
