Hi dear friends! In this calming and inspiring episode, we explore the power of listening, not just with our ears, but with our presence. Like an orchestra, true harmony in life comes when we tune in to one another. At work, listening builds clarity and trust. At home, it helps us connect with the rhythm of our partnerâs and childrenâs emotions. And in silence, listening to the world around us restores inner calm. (Hear the violin!) Youâll learn: đ» How to use âthe pause between notesâ to listen more deeply at work. đ„ How to hear the emotional rhythms of your loved ones at home. đł A guided Listening Meditation to calm your mind and body. âš Plusâa quick 2â3 minute âListening Resetâ you can use anytime during your day.  Take a breath, tune in, and discover how listening can bring harmony to your work, your relationships, and your soul. Natasha Swerdloff is living in a beautiful house outside of Copenhagen and has a background as an NLP trainer, Psychotherapist, Copenhagen Business School, Systemic tests and more. She has run her own successful business for the last 23 years now. In this podcast we cover; Where do great results come from?  How does the mind work?  It has to do with seeing for yourself that who you are in essence is not your thinking or your role or your beliefs about yourself.  Everything that you think is your identity is your thoughts. Itâs not who you really are⊠ The more you are engaging yourself in thinking, it is almost like you are covering up who you really areâŠand then that does not come out⊠ Your true potential is lying in seeing your true nature.  Today I should be called âthe pointerââŠ!  Your true nature IS effective, taking ownership, productive, joyful, compassionate with other people when I am not covering who I am with my thinking⊠ The secret of how to take ownership.  Finding your true self is also finding your personal power and what you are in the world to create.  What to do when you are in a job you donât enjoy?  Thinking is good for 3 things:   They see their thinking has been covering the joy. Thinking is good to first discover how the mind works. Thought is great just for celebrating life. Planning trips, get things done etc.  Thinking is a beautiful tool, but often we misuse it and it gets dark⊠ Real-life storyâŠFemale Manager.   ..Experience life as it is with ought getting in your own way!  What happens when you are only present in the now?  Wisdom in Business is really our common sense and not all the time listen to our inner chatter, rather just letting it be.  Is it too good to be true?  It is heartwarming to see that people can live much fuller lives, much easier lives.  Side effects in personal life too⊠ Real life experience with a bank investor and what happens to him. From being a bullying and being forced coaching (or getting fired) to seeing something totally new.  The rubber ball effect and the secret to the end of stress⊠ Natashaâs cool train metaphor!  How to become more efficient.  âI have a deadline todayââŠetcâŠÂ  How to deal with Danish Business People (or any other nation) ;-)  We all want the same thingâŠ.every single person in the world wants the same thing.  Natashaâs book on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Coming-Home-Uncovering-Foundations-Psychological/dp/153280783X Website: http://swerdloff.dk  My website: ajahumm.com Do you like to work with me? Catherineâs passion and vision are to reignite the resiliency and wisdom in all persons in any environment. Catherine currently lives in San Jose, California. The Bag Lady effect: My worst fear: End up as a bag lady out on the street, under the bridge like a bag lady. Now I just know I would end on my feet. We all have this capacity to land on our feet and be resilient. Imagine the weight you are carrying around with all this fear. When my fear about my son vanished, it was such a different energy. âI have to worry about my sonâ âI need to worryâ That takes a lot of mental energy. Like a fish in the water. We don't see how much stress we are in/so much thinking. Trust you have the presence, so you know what is important.   It's more realizing that you are not present.  Thought and feelings are connected.  Mental multitasking-your mind is somewhere else.  We are all caught up in our little worlds.  I would want me, brain sergeant, to be as present as possible.  Itâs all about where your mind is. 100%  Coping takes a lot of mental energy. Rather âI just have too much going on in my mind right nowâŠâ  The source of my experience comes from the inside.  I was good at getting things done.  âThis job is stressing me outâ and then I would change my job.  It was where my mind was, not the job. The joke was on me. Like chasing my tail.  Sheryl Sandberg âLean Inâ All the stuff you have in your head is holding you back. You are sitting on limitless capacity, wisdom.  Fearless. You have the capacity to figure things out. You are OK with making mistakes.  Being fearless is going flat on your face and then brushing off the dust and getting up again.  I called in the Director of nursing in the Hospital after the head of the department had committed suicide.  âWhat do you want for your nurses?â  What happens to nurses that they get less resilient.  Fearless: confidence and certainty that you will bounce back!  Listen from a different place.  For yourself:  Notice in a conversation if you are in your own mind or listening to them. Does your mind  How often do you let somebody just speak with ought âdoingâ anything? Wait even with asking a new question. That gives you connection and impact. Had to come âout of Cathyâ. Donât assume you understand. Ask âwhat do you mean ex. about anxietyâ.  What happened to the businesswomen that were scared of ending up on the street..?   If you see that state of mind is running the show it will have a huge impact in your life.  Donât worry about your state of mind as much as you APPRECIATE and have COMPASSION for yourself because that is humanity. The more we have compassion for ourselves is probably the most important thing. Then we can take care of anything outside of ourselves. That is probably the most important. Just seeing that I am not present helps me get present. Vil du jobbe med meg? Send en mail til: ajahumm@me.com Â
I so much treasure this interview I had with "The Englishman in Boston" Robin Charbit in his hotel room in a beautiful resort in London where we had our Business training last year. I decided to publish the conversation one more time. Like art, we hear something new every time and I for sure do that in this interview. Robin shares key elements to keep our mental well-being even in times of resistance. We talk about: What is our built-in design for Success? What is innate? How does our mental system work? How to be brilliant (or knowing when we are not) It does not look the same in the morning⊠Balance/Intelligence We are all brilliant, but only when it âshows upâ Why there is no âdoingâ involved, there is no technique in this understanding of the mind  The Peace Exercise: Think of a moment you were very peaceful Remember what qualities were available to you in that moment ( ex. Everything is possible, feeling of love etc) Did you make them (the good feelings) happen or did they just âshow upâ? Most people say âthey just showed upâ, so where did they come from? They must be innate=build in (in you).  The beating of your heart is innate (just happens) Small kids just learn Everything is in you, you have access. You get access when you know the way the system works. How to get financial success You get insights/clarity that will show you the way to go Insight= a moment of clear understanding or A-HA moments Our Design for Success when you need them A new way of thinking Example of a team that had to raise 100 billion in 7 weeks The biggest misunderstanding is that our feelings come from the outside ex. the stock market, a difficult client, your mother-in-law Your thinking is what causes your feelings. Different thoughts create a different experience To hear my voice right now in your head- that is just happening What happens? People start to react less to stress, "difficult" situations of people etc The more you become aware of the internal process the less you react to the outer world and the more brilliant moments you get When the team naturally relaxes they see 10x more solutions Same people, same target, different understanding, different results Unbelievable results How to âbuildâ self-confidence (or not) What happens when you stop scaring yourself? Learning about how the mind works is like riding the bicycle WD40 for the human mind How to have lifelong success Like learning to drive a car If you have a leader who learn this it has a ripple effect How a leader can operate with this understanding No power outside can hurt me I get curious if there is a problem Leaders get very conscious about what state they themselves are in  Leadership tips on how to get No. 1: Pay attention to the moments of peace Notice what you are capable of in those moments Notice those moments of peace and wisdom and realize that that's actually who you are Want to learn more about our leadership trainings, please contact me on ajahumm.com aja@ajahumm.com  Â
We can all need a bit of extra care and attention to our bodies that carry us around all day and that constantly are exposed to inner and outer challenges and stressors. đ« With these 28 relaxing minutes you will be able to RESET your body and mind. You can also use this episode to fall asleep at night if you have troubles sleeping or resting your thoughts. đ đ I recorded this from a session with one of my dear international clients. Everything I say is done 100% intuitively and spontaneous. No script what-so-ever. đȘŽ If you are interested in my work and would like to book a consultation with me, you can send me an email on aja@ajahumm.com and we take it from there. âš ajahumm.com As always, with love and strength Aja Â
Honestly...This simple yet powerful visualization has transformed my grounding throughout the day. No kidding. đ As you go along with the images, see what intuitively comes up for you. For me, I could not find the center of the earth (you need to do it once to follow me here..), so I really had huge insights and transformation to myself when I discovered this. Somehow, I had left my "center" 40 years ago in my birth country Switzerland. Pretty strange, but now I understand why I somehow did not feel 100% at home in my current country, beautiful Norway... Luckily, this changed this year and so it is never too late to see something new and beneficial in life. This counts for you too my friend! đđ» Curious to learn more and have private sessions with me? Head me an email at: aja@ajahumm.com ajahumm.com PS. You can always during the day hook your grounding cord down to the center of the earth if you feel you are somehow a bit out of balance, needing extra security, or just wanna feel and be more grounded. Experiment and you will find your way! Have fun. đđđ Aja
We are so happy to announce a new episode of Suksesspillen-The Pill of Success covering: Critical People, Sensitive People: Can They Get Along in a business? How Do You Handle Criticism? Receiving Critical Feedback with More Understanding. This conversation is with Sandra Krot and, as always your host Aja Humm from AH Consulting Web: https://www.ajahumm.com Sandy and Insight Principles (see  more below): https://insightprinciples.com Highlights: Our reality is real. I forget that our reality is real all the time. We live in separate realities. You cannot escape your thinking. It is going to look real pĂ„ you. All culture is agreements about how life works. Critical people: We get so used to our thinking that we donât notice the feeling we are in? We human beings get used to our feelings and become tolerant of them. Habitual thinking that has become invisible to people. Once you understand how your mind works you get insights that will help you. I picked up really thick skin. Did not notice my own critical tone. Sensitive people also have to take a look inside and take responsibility for their own reactions. You are not your label. You are not your mental habit. You cannot give critical feedback if you are not neutral. It takes insight to change even when we desire change. Willpower only gets you so far... Insight takes you the whole way! Look out for the shift in people. Not (only) the intellectual understanding. Synergy in a team. Best to make everybody learn about the principles of how the mind works... Cannot always get that, so: As a leader, you can ask: Are you present, are you listening, you as the leader can just notice about what is happening in the room. Value the space and willingness to open up. If you are not the leader you can ask: Can we take a time out? Can we listen better? You donât have to know and have long discussions about how your mind works. Listening is helpful, build synergy, being present, doing one thing at a time. We all know when our mind works best. You can actually open the door, you can walk out and have a break/some air. We all get lost from time to time. When we stop learning, that is the problem. Lots of material available to learn about the mind. Recommend tapping into that. But the real learning will be your life. Pay attention to our successes. Pay attention to when we DO see what is going on. Liten innsikten midt i situasjonen. Hele du VIL tilbake i balanse.

This week, the whole world is honoring one of the most sought-after film composers Ennio Morricone. 2 weeks ago, I played one of his most popular songs; Gabriel's Oboe in a church in Norway. I recorded our quick practice session with my iPhone just to have for myself but decided to share it with you and the world too. đ» No professional recording what-so-ever, just an everyday practice before performing somewhere in a church or event. Hope you enjoy it. đđ„° Don't hesitate of course if you also want me to come to play for your gathering, event, or party. đ¶đ€đ¶ ajahumm.com
I, Aja Humm your host of "The Pill of Success podcast" am delighted to share this conversation with the world today.đ Be sure to bring a tissue.đ„° Thanks to everyone that have made this connection and friendship possible. Sharon, Marianna, Frans and more... Christine once said that "We are all in this together. We are just one big family in a Global Village". That really touched me to tears. I so much love that. So now dear Village, enjoy listening and hopefully, you also will get new insight and inspiration to pass-it-on. Whatever good you choose to pass on! đđđ»â In this heartfelt â€ïž and deep episode, Christine Vulimu shares her strong, heroic story and her mission in life that is to get the world to: Help one woman. One girl and one woman at the time can change a whole community. Never hurt another woman. Empowering communities through the education of girls, so they can change the culture of child marriage and FGM from the inside. Helping women in their daily struggles to meet ends and end domestic violence. From the podcast: How she came through education. I knew in my heart I wanted to be a teacher. Marriage was not the safe haven I had foreseen... I have to take care of my children with my twins that are one healthy and one mentally challenged. Something took me to the general hospital that was a free family planning clinique. (Not free anymore!) Just sitting on the bench outside the hospital. I see my former principle from my high school. What are you doing? I want to be a teacher. In two weeks you go check if your name is there...and it was!! I had to leave my children behind for 2 years. Almost 700 km away and told the father âI am going to schoolâ. No discussion. I made myself busy so I wouldn't hear the screams by missing my children on my inside because if I did I would not be able to focus and succeed. My first job was in the slum. The story about the boy that had a crushed thumb. The day I finished my probation I left. I got a job in a private school and worked there for 25y. Every year I was meeting different children. Every single year I would write a personal note to every child so that in my mind I am understanding all the individuals sitting behind the desk. We would be able to bond. And the parents bought in because of the personal note. I would visit every single home and from there I would know if there is a special need for them. To all the children: I am interested in you as a person. No bullying Donât talk anybody down When you get to this school we are equal Nobody is above another person You are sitting where you are sitting because you begin with the letter A. We are positioning you alphabetically, not by your performance. Then I looked for what to award for the children so that everybody has something great for them.  Every year we would pick a gift for one student. The note: You will surprise yourself. âTeacher, see I have surprised myselfâ Every year I randomly pick a girl to help. Otherwise she will be married away. The story about the girl Dockas.  Final wisdom: I get to be OK with what is. Curious about working with me or other questions? Please send a note to aja@tuneinlabs.com www.tuneinlabs.com Insta: Instagram Aja Humm TuneInLabs From an article about Christine and a talk she gave in The Daily Nation in Kenya: "I believe itâs time we flushed out our emotional baggage and built healthy families so that weâll be able to face the world and fulfill our destinies. Usually, whenever a guest speaker stands up to share, we assume theyâll read out a typed speech so bias creeps in, then selective attention, and possibly a catnap, but this one was different. It was one of those talks, not speeches, that touch the core and provoke you to go out and make a difference. Mrs. Christine Vulimu, a teacher for more than 27 years, shared on âemotional energyâ. What struck me about Christine was her frankness. She hid nothing about herself and bared it all for us to understand how emotional backlog affects parenting. âI have taught sexually and physically abused children, some whose thumbs were crushed because some coins went missing from home,â Christine said. âOne time, I had a boy in my class whose uniform was always dirty, and when I enquired, he said his mum left with a man together with his little sister, and they abandoned him because he was âtoo bigâ. There had been no water at home for seven months because it had been disconnected.â
Does cancer and the corona pandemic have anything in common? No. Not really. But there is one common denominator and that is our mind our psyche. How we think about a crisis. How we feel. đż Learn from Lars M. Fogtmann's personal story of how to deal with the psychological stress around cancer in this episode of Suksesspillen. âïž What really happened to the 47-year-old Danish leadership coach and trainer Lars Myndal Fogtmann 3 years ago? Host Aja Humm in conversation with Lars Myndal Fogtmann. Learn more about Aja here: Norwegian site https://tuneinlabs.com English: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ajahumm-businessconsultant/ Lars: https://myndalfogtmann.dk/om-os/ Lars is the father of 5 kids that he has together with his beautiful wife and business partner Dorthe. Lars and his wife came over a new understanding of how the mind works for us about 7 years ago and that helped them tremendously when Lars was diagnosed with cancer. It started with a lump in my neck. Lars shares his story. How he communicated with his wife and 5 children. He shares openly what thoughts went through his head in the initial days and also in the process of healing. Listen to what happened to Lars on the way home from the hospital. What went through his head. He could see: The cancer was physical in his body The thinking was psycologically in his mind He did not have to mix those two anymore, so his mind cleared up.  âIt was only my âthinkingâ about cancerâ that caused my troubled feelings.  The kids could see that the parents were calm about cancer and they also stayed calm and confident. We were very honest with the kidds about the process and what was going on.  We were not emotionally charged about it, so the kids were not either.  If we are in a good state of mind when we talk about things, then everything is easier.  Also with the corona crisis.  Friends and family said, âjust think positiveâ. But then I had to create an illusion that was not mine. For me, it was much easier to just sit down and just see the floating thoughts, the thoughts that goes through me. âOh, there was a new thought, and there is one other new thoughtâ.  A thought is there a split second, and there is another new thought and a new thought and a new thoughtâŠ.  Help for overcoming overwhelm: Just see it for what it is, a thought in the moment.  For example, I may think: âI may be dyingââŠthat is not happening now, that is something that is going on in the future that I really donât know.  Every worries or fear I have for the future is not real, it is not happening now.  âŠthe only thing that connects the past to right now is my thinking in the momentâŠ.  âŠdon't believe your thoughts⊠ âŠif I have to control my thoughts it is a lot of hard work⊠ âŠitâs easier just to lean back and see that it âjustâ is thinking going on right now, nothing more⊠ âŠthere is so much more ease and lightness if you see it is thinking, you can react to it, but you donât have to⊠ âŠwhen you are under stress, you only see part of the puzzle, you just see one piece⊠ What do I have to do to find calm again?  You donât have to do anything. Because we come from calm, ease.  Go for a walk in the forest, have a coffe, take a shower.  Itâs not a âdoingâ thing, itâs a being thing.  We are not human âdoingsâ we are human âbeingsâ.  Itâs so much easier to just be in what is!  For me, with cancer, my body could use its energy to heal, not to fix my worried thinking.  We coud see what was right for us in the family.  It was for us the same to talk about cancer than it was to talk about coffee with my wife and that really helped me a lot.  My wife knows that life has our backs always and will have a way for us.  Larsâ last tips to you and your life:  Go live your lives and be present. Take a pause sometimes and go for a walk and see what floats in you.
Hvem maler du for? Prestasjon for meg selv Trine Formoe (Folmoe?) betydde mye for meg Traff mange flotte mennsker.

From the Kindle#1 Bestseller; Women and Confidence In this podcast, we dig into the stories many women have used against themselves and that has held them back from living their life with inner freedom. Bastianutti and Ford began to question: why are women still suffering from a lack of confidence? Why are they still playing small? What if, all of us--including the self-help industry--have been looking in the wrong direction about how our experience of insecurity, confidence, or any other feeling state, gets created in the first place. And the bigger question: What causes true and lasting transformation? Their book, Women and Confidence, The Truth About the Lies We Tell Ourselves, is their answer to all of these questions. Indeed, it makes a bold and revolutionary claim--a complete 180 in fact--that confidence is not something we have to achieve, create, or exercise like a muscle, the popular advice espoused by the self-help pundits, but is actually, an innate quality every single one of us possess and not just a few lucky ones. www.lindafordcoaching.com www.lanabcoaching.com www.ajahumm.com Learn more about their book here: www.womenandconfidence.com In this podcast: Reflections about looks, âAm I looking good enoughâ? About looks: Thoughts on aging, how to cope with getting older? The looks are changing, but there is something behind the scene is NOT changing. About the labels, we put on ourselves âI am fat/thin/smart/stupid etcâŠâ Imagine an island where cellulite is awesomeâŠitâs just in our thinking. Confidence is innate, it is built into us. We are not the âmade upâ identity we THINK we are.   The confident woman just DOES things without all the complicated thinking. Steps to help you feel more appreciated. Ask for feedback, but donât mistake it for your value. How to get perspective on when you are not being recognized. Be aware of the rules we make up for ourselves. We make up what people think of us. A lot of women are struggling with the âgood girl syndromeâ and also with the "angry woman syndrome". Taking the temperature of the room. Stop worrying about what everybody else is thinking of you. The imposter syndrome, itâs just a lot of thinking taking us away from who we really are. We live from the inside and not the other way around. In the end, a small reminder and tip for you to take into your life! ENJOY! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are curious to know more. With love, Aja aja@ajahumm.com
*Danish neighbor consultant, coach and trusted advisor Mads Quist shares in this episode of Suksesspillen his insights into the secrets on how the human mind really works in sales.* This episode focuses on the hidden advantages of how to improve your sales. He shares tips to sales leadership, describing how to have a good conversation with your employees to get on track, he shares the drivers behind the scene of high performance in business.  More about Mads: http://madsqwist.dk More about Aja: https://www.ajahumm.com From the episode today: The only thing between me and high performance is how I engage with my thinking in the moment. Our human mind is always gravitating towards clarity. Sometimes we forget to worry! When worry passes it passes. When I know how my mind works, I know from where to do my creative thinking, my priorities, my decision making. From a contracted consciousness you donât see much of the world other than your problems. Take a step back and your consciousness expands and you see the world in the bigger picture again. Salespeople in distress notice their decision making... A person with a contracted mind makes bad decisions. The system is designed in our favor As a leader, my most important task is to  Notice their thinking Step away from their thinking Let clarity arise of itâs on  How you can help the person out of their negative thinking as a leader? How can you help the person let go of their limiting thinking? Pointing out fresh thinking and support them.  As a leader ask yourself: 1. Do I add troubled thinking to my salespeople? 2. Do I help them get out of bad thinking?  No matter what job you have, you will always perform to the best of your abilities from a clear mind.  "We just get in our own way in all areas of life!"  The last two decades it has been all about  Globalization Digitalization Optimization  This has been the core key-differentiator in business.  The companies that have had most success over the last 20 years are companies that have lived after (yes, you got it..):  Globalization Digitalization Optimization  Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Banks that have gone digital...  At the same time people are more stressed and have never been more unhappy with life even though we never had more opportunities for a great life and that ALL originates in the mind.  There is NO question that for the next decade or two the key differentiator in any business will be the ability to understand and utilize the human mind.   Stress is something we do to ourselves in a misconception of how the mind works.  The connection that we do with people comes from our human mind, not our intellect.  When people and businesses start understanding the human mind they will start to see possibilities, sustainability, community, teamwork, the common good, responsibility, humility, vulnerability, all these traits. I strongly believe that that is gonna build the next level of the future.  And the sooner people invest in understanding and utilizing the mind, it is gonna be a competitive advantage, and also for the common good and the sustainable process. Â
