Whoever edits the podcast should have caught the low volume and fixed it before releasing to listeners. Guess they wanted us to turn up our volume so we didn't miss the ads.

I'm done with this podcast. I heard the final misandrous comment from Laura Richards! In episode 172 at approximately the 9 minute mark she attributes OJ Simpson's not guilty verdict to sexism! What a historically ignorant statement! The segment of society we're not simply "men", bit a specific ethnic makeup of both men and women. That said, after 172 episodes, I'm unsubscribing. I don't need this sort of men hatred in my life.

this podcast would be top notch without the relentless feminist drool.

It's one thing for Americans to criticize and lecture American law enforcement, it's another for a man-hating Butch Brit to do so. Clemente is good but he's way overrated, not to mention arrogant and phony.

'Girlfriend?' it is appalling to call a 15 or 16 year old a "girlfriend." She is a victim!!!!

The surest sign of bureaucratic group think is the constant appetite for more funding. If we keep throwing money at the problem, things will get better. The truth is that some killers simply outsmart the cops. Sad but true.

so many ads... it's becoming a bit much in terms of interrupting the listening experience.

I realize that signing up for Patreon is not hugely expensive. For some of us it is! I cannot actually afford it. Am glad that some can to enable you all to do what you do. 🙂

I love this podcast, Jim and Laura are so knowledgeable and their passion for justice restores my faith in humanity. And I love Lisa's civilian side of it, makes me feel like I'm not clueless and totally speaks what I think lol thank God for all of you

finding this podcast, while excellent, is stepping away from deep informative discussion informed by the professionalism of Jim and Laura and more into the realm of repetition of known facts and somewhat superficial conversation. This episode in particular took along time to then kind of skate over the topic. I really enjoy this team and podcast because the discussion so often goes to deeper more thoughtful places and is often rich with forensic details articulated well. However compare this episode with previous episodes about Nicole Simpson or others.

no one gave a crap about her disappearance, it's awful that he wasn't arrested back then

I was disappointed to hear Jim dismiss the possibility that the mass shooter who committed his crime upon a number of college students was doing so because of a hatred for the men, after extensive records of the shooter's resentment and vitriol that the gunman focused upon women due to rejection. It is a growing pattern found in connection with violence towards women, many perpetrators of such crimes have even self identified as being "incel" - or involuntarily celibate.
