Mom life can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be this way. I talked to Ranae in this episode about how we can rise about overwhelm and chaos in our lives. As an occupational therapist and advocate for moms, Ranae gets it. She has found strength beyond her own to navigate life's struggles. Through multiple miscarriages, experience with three kids, working mom life, stay at home mom life, and a husband with a brain tumor and seizures. Comparing yourself to other moms is a sure way to reduce your confidence, motivation, and self-esteem. It’s a sure way to make you feel like you are not enough, frustrated, or have false confidence. It must be natural to make these types of comparisons because everyone does it. However, this doesn’t mean that it is a good thing. In this episode, we are rewinding to episode 10 with Autumn. Key takeaways: We all deal with depression in our lives. Sometimes it is situational, but there are times when it is critical and requires treatment and/or therapy. If you are struggling with depression, you are not alone! If you think that you are dealing with depression don’t ignore the signs, don’t be ashamed and reach out for help. Exercise can be just as effective as medication for treating depression.
