There are two ways to maximize your income as a real estate agent. You can stay in production, hold onto the entire transaction and never experience the time freedom this business offers.  Or you can relinquish the transaction, get your time back and earn money through leverage and expansion.  For the short-sighted, option 1 works, but that’s how we end up with agents who are stuck selling real estate longer than they need to. As real estate pros, we can swing from feeling like the greatest salespeople to wanting to quit very quickly. If a consultation goes well, we’re at the top of the world. If we don’t get a sale, we feel rejected, dejected and ready to leave the business entirely.  The best salespeople aren’t immune to this emotional rollercoaster, but they deal with it differently. Of course, the rejection hurts, but instead of licking their wounds, they bounce back faster so they can win the next deal.  How do we learn to move through rejection faster? No matter how many homes you sell or how much money you make, life can throw you struggles you just can’t escape. As business owners and parents, our natural response is to try and fix it, but what happens when the situation is one you can’t change?  That’s what happened to Jim Allen.
