I am currently undergoing that terrifying last jump mentioned in the episode. last year I went from 8-10mg/day to 2mg/day. over the last couple weeks, with help from a LOT of Kratom, I've very uncomfortably made it to .5 mg/day but i feel like I will never recover and feel "normal" again. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am doing this on my own without Dr. supervision which I know is a mistake, but I have no health insurance and everything comes straight out of my pocket. I've been on Suboxone (the most recent stint) for about 6 years. This is both my greatest wish and biggest fear in my life is to live a healthy, normal life without this monkey on my back. It has both saved my life AND taken it away from me. Any help or suggestions or even conversation on the matter is welcome and appreciated. Good luck to all you struggling addicts and those who love you.
