Halloween Countdown Episode 2: Bringing you Real Canadian Stories. The Real Scary Podcast season 2 Countdown to Halloween! This episode is all  about some 'vintage' hauntings. The first is the 'Mary Ellen Fire Spook' out of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. A strange case of spontaneous fires that plagued a small family farm one year, leaving the land forever cursed (at least that's what the locals believe.) The next story is of a small and unassuming grove of bushes off a road in Prince Edward Island, where a horrific crime was committed in 1859. Bringing you Real Canadian Stories. The Real Scary  Podcast brings you the story of the massacre of five members of a family in February of 1880. The story of how a mob of townspeople, including members of the local police, carried out this act one night. The story is complicated and one of anger and conflict that grew and festered over decades in this small town.
