This for sure is an experienced pilot, one you will love to have fly you and not a DUI pilot as been pushed for these days.

One of the most annoying episodes in an otherwise fantastic series. Would recommend skipping unless you're interested in hearing about a family that unnecessarily put themselves in danger and risked other peoples lives in their rescue. Not surprising, though, as the interviewee clearly has a victim mentality and a life guided by fear. She even outlines how she is instilling fear into their son by perpetuating unfounded lies to create and instill fear in their child.

if they had service and satellite on the way in, why on earth not just go the way they came from? it didn't make any sense to go forward. and while they're both impressive, how did she teach survival" and not know basic clothing safety? a lot of big avoidable mistakes here :/ they got lucky.

I really enjoy this podcast overall. This episode, however, is rough. One of the things that makes this podcast great its relatability and your ability to out yourself in the shoes of the survivors and feel a bit of empathy. This episode is about 2 people who carelessly and unnecessarily put themselves in a dangerous situation and even continued their questionable priorities throughout the ordeal. skip this episode
