The prosecution spent a little more than half an hour trying to convince the jury to use their common sense and convict Brian Walshe of First Degree murder for what they call the “violent death” of his wife Ana on New Year’s Day three years ago. Just after noon ET, the jury began their deliberations and were given three options for their verdict: Guilty of first-degree murder, guilty of second-degree murder, or not guilty.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The defense attorney for Brian Walshe, Larry Tipton,  spent this morning making his best case for why jurors should find Brian Walshe not guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife Ana. Despite the gruesome searches and the fact that Walshe has admitted to dismembering and disposing of his wife’s body, Tipton told jurors that there is no evidence that Brian ever once thought about harming his wife, claiming the only evidence was love.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In a case that eerily mimics the gruesome details coming out of the Brian Walshe trial, a Swiss man has just been formally charged with murdering his wife, dismembering her body, and then dissolving her body parts in a blender. He’s been charged with murder and disturbing the peace of the dead after police say he strangled 38-year-old former Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic and the mother of his two young daughters.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A somewhat shocking day in the Brian Walshe trial with the defense announcing not only will Brian Walshe not testify, no one else will either. It’s a decision based on strategic confidence or avoidance of risk, but either way, the defense surprised a number of legal experts who were anticipating at least a few witnesses to take the stand in defense of Walshe. Today’s decision suggests Walshe’s defense team feels good about their ability to sew reasonable doubt in the minds of jurors through their cross examination of the state’s witnesses. Closing arguments are set for tomorrow!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It was the prosecution’s final day of testimony and they saved the best for last. The day began with Gem Mutlu, one of the Walshe’s dear friends and most notably, the man who spent New Year’s Eve with the couple in the hours leading up to Ana’s death. The prosecution struggled with Mutlu’s testimony, and it’s unclear whether it did more harm than good. The final witness for the state was one of Ana’s best friends who had some incredible details we have yet to hear about the Walshe’s marriage, but once again, she seems to have both helped and hurt the case against Walshe. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It was a complicated, technical day of blood evidence highly important to the prosecution’s case, but the problem was, it was difficult for anyone other than a forensic scientist to absorb and understand the testimony. Walshe’s attorneys were able to keep things simple on cross examination though, getting the state’s witnesses to admit two very important things to the jury. First, that there was no blood found in the Walshe’s bedroom or bathrooms, and second, while there was blood found on the basement floor, no crime lab test could reveal how or when that blood got there. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

O.M.G. at the ignorance of these people talking about Kyle Rittenhouse. They clearly didn't watch the whole trial, just what the msm that only showed of the prosecution, not the defense, and their ignorance of guns, and the situation...("assault rifle!? please!, mom drove him there?! please!) I can't imagine putting this frame of a story out for the world while being so ill-informed- it's not only pathetic but dangerous.
