It shows the centrality of Christ and how Mary is the path to Christ. Since Our Lady shared in Jesus’ sufferings in a completely unique way, so she too shares in His glory in a completely unique way. Yet there is great glory for ALL who carry their cross faithfully. Imitating Our Lady, we are to persevere in God’s grace and keep our focus always on Heaven. May this mystery also inspire us to seek God’s will above our own in all things, especially as regards sickness and death. Our Lady willingly denied her desires for the happiness and consolation of the Church on earth. The Church is currently suffering great devastation; what efforts do I make to further the good of the Church?

One of these is the icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located today in the Church of St. Alphonsus in Rome. The order he founded, the Redemptorists, have done much to promote this devotion after it was already greatly venerated in the East. St. Luke painted it on a table top crafted by Our Lord. The image was blessed by Our Lady, and she promised: “My grace will accompany it.” In this icon, Mary directs us to her Son. The Child contemplates His future passion, as the archangels present the instruments of His torture. Nevertheless, the icon conveys Christ’s triumph over sin and death. May we grow in devotion to Our Lady under this title.

This long episode recaps many points raised earlier and sets up the conclusion to this HN series. The smoke of satan has entered the Church via his synagogue. The Jews, in their turn, have used freemasonry, with the fabricated holocaust narrative as weapon to becloud the thinking of many. Basta!

She is a patroness for many, although her intercession is particularly focused on the family. She excelled in charity for the poor and love of God. She fervently prayed for a husband who would help her live according to the divine law. She and St. Joachim bore very heavy crosses with faith and humility. In fact, her deeds and prayers and deeds serve as a powerful example and inspiration. May we each grow in our desire to be devoted to her.

The saints mastered this devotion because they meditated upon Our Lord’s Passion. For example, consider St. Bridget of Sweden and St. Veronica Giuliani. They teach that nothing helps us hate sin more and love Jesus above all things than looking upon Him covered in blood and wounds for our sake. Jesus’ sacrifice and His Precious Blood are present to us at Holy Mass. Adore, thank, and pray to the Precious Blood, for it has infinite power to sanctify, expiate, protect and intercede. Two questions to ask yourself: How often during Mass do I look upon Jesus who is truly present? What have I suffered out of love for Jesus?

The natural fruit of religion is sacrifice. Today we apply this prayer to marriage. In marriage, God call us to renounce ourselves (our senses, passions, will, judgment) for the good of spouse and children. If you are not sacrificing in your marriage, how can you sacrifice to God? Self will spoils and corrupts marriage. Spouses must crucify the ‘old self’ and be motivated by the desire to do God’s will.

The devotion of all devotions is love for Jesus. Meditate frequently on how much He loves you. Our faith remains weak. We are always looking for signs and look for God to respond in the manner we want. Yet if we but believed and loved –like the saints– we would see the Greatest Sign is there before us!

All created goods (mammon) are given to us by God to be used moderately and prudently. In this way we are “friends” to them and they help us reach God. But when we misuse them they turn to evil (iniquity). What created things are you misusing? Some common ones are technology, alcohol, debt, friends, and clothing. A basic Catholic life, with the penance of prayer and sacrifice, will help us use all created goods as God intended.

Two of His greatest witnesses are St. Peter and St. Paul. The Church brings God’s Love and Truth to the world, especially through the Mass. The Mass presents the true faith, love, devotion and reverence with which man is to worship God. We show our love for Christ by spreading His truth to the ends of the world and always remaining faithful to the Mass. He who remains faithful to God’s truth and true worship will be persecuted. May the holy Apostles help us be willing to suffer for Christ.

Truly this is a remarkable Mystery. And it illustrates the weakness of Eucharistic Faith in three groups of believers. Can you say there is nothing more important in your life? Do you receive Him frequently? Do you receive Him as worthily as you can? Strive to receive Holy Communion with faith, purity, and deep devotion.

This is what Catholicism is. In these two mysteries –suffering & love– we learn the great truths about life. The Mass is our perpetual remembrance of them; at every moment it is being offered somewhere in the world. Yet the Mass is also a perpetual presence of His cross and death, from which we all can draw life, strength and grace. The more we do so, the more we reject sin and grow in union with God. Pray to Our Sorrowful Mother that, by her merits, she obtain these gifts for us.

Ven. Holzhuaser divides the life of the Church into seven ages. We are living at the end of the fifth age, the age of tribulation, which is began circa 1517 and is filled with revolution against God. The only solution for our times is being faithful to the Message of Fatima. The Consecration of Russia and First Saturday devotion are the means by which God will usher in the sixth age, the Age of Consolation and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Also addressed: The truth of Our Lady's prophecy that a worse war, signaled by an unknown light, would begin under Pius IX. Why Pius XII consecration of the world (31 Oct 1942) was not a fulfillment of Our Lady of Fatima's request.

Every Catholic should be familiar with the Message Our Lady gave the world at Fatima on July 13, 1917. In addition to the Miracle of the Sun, Our Lady has already provided many miracles to prove her words. Three such great historical events occurred in Portugal (1930s), Austria (1950s) and Brazil (1960s). A fourth could be included from Japan (1940s). These should inspire us with confidence and trust, so that Catholics will obey Our Lady en masse.
