Jesus is the center of the Church and it is He who unites it. Members of the Church can honor and help one another because of the charity of Christ and the power of His grace. Far too often we only think of the Church in terms of this world and goods and values of this world. For those on earth, our duty is to fight the enemies of our soul and grow in God’s grace. Our goal must be to save our soul and help save the souls of others. Please use The Fatima Crusader (Issue 135, Fall Issue); it provides and excellent plan for how we can accomplish this goal.

We must weaken our body by mortification because that weakens the passions which lead us to sin. We must do penance because that makes up for our sins. Every sin weakens our will to live a good Catholic life; every penance strengthens that will. Making peace with our sins is not a Catholic life, so give up something that hurts. (If we are not suffering, something is wrong with our Lent). Give up the electronics, the complaining, or the sins of the tongue. Yet the best penance is what Providence provides and we humbly accept. This requires great charity; it is proof of our love for Jesus.

They brought gifts to adore the Lord. The most acceptable gift we can offer is a contrite and loving heart. Jesus calls us to conversion; to become like Him. How narrow is the gate that leads to life and few there are that find it. We must be guided by the desire to reach Heaven. We should also reflect upon the reality of hell. The soul that seriously considers hell will be moved to conversion and be saved.

It is from his cathedra, that a bishop teaches the Catholic Faith and exercises his apostolic authority. Bishops are meant to serve as the instruments of Christ. Their failure to faithfully transmit His teachings is a great tragedy of our times. This feast also reminds us that we will all stand in judgment before Christ the King. Although we are not political or ecclesial rulers, and so our influence in the public sphere is limited, we must nevertheless honor Christ as King in our lives and offer reparation for the offenses His Kingship suffers.

Enter therein and consider that this Child, Who is God, came down to earth for love of you and that He suffered so much to pay the penalty for your sins. He has granted you this new year that you may thank and love him more. Yet too often we go through life and our heart never changes. So offer Him your heart, ask him to transform it, making it like to His own Heart. These are the steps we need to take if we truly wish Him to teach us, save us, and rule over us.

We resort to evil means to reach a sought after good, then justify our actions that are not right. We do this in small things and it becomes a habit in our soul. We are blinded to our own faults and can’t see how our way of acting destroys the peace in our family, parish, and society. This pride of man also prevents God from speaking to our souls. The only way towards healing –and peace– is know Christ is the answer. We must desire His grace, approach Him humbly, obey His authority, and trust His goodness.

He elevated marriage to a sacrament, meaning it became a stable state of life which produces grace. He did this at the request of His Mother. The overabundance of wine represents grace and great joy. All society benefits from this, not only the married couple. Yet we have deviated from how Christ has instituted marriage. Even Catholic Canon Law has confused the proper ends of marriage. NFP is used by so many Catholics, but it easily fosters a spirit of selfishness and pleasure that runs contrary to marriage. The only way to have a happy marriage is to live in conformity with how God created marriage.

St. John, whom we honor on December 27, was the son of Zebedee and Salome and brother of James. He was the youngest apostle, the disciple whom Jesus loved - because of his purity. St. John was the only Apostle at the foot of the Cross. Our Lord entrusted His own Mother to him. St. John teaches us what it means to love. God’s love for us should be the foundation of our life, our most firm conviction motivating all we do. St. John’s gospel is the most ‘theological’ and he emphasizes the divinity of Christ. His gospel includes seven “I AM” statements by Jesus, all of which identify Him as God.

His words resound until the end of the ages. He command us to teach and baptize all nations. If we neglect –worse, betray– this command, how can we possibly believe He is King? Yet even those ruling His Church reject and scorn His kingship. As an example, consider the Vatican’s gathering of world religions on October 28, 2025. Few Catholics even realize how diabolical was the message delivered by Leo XIV. Take seriously how the Catholic Faith has been lost, even in the Church. We ned to pray and make a much greater effort to make Christ the King of your life.

Reflecting upon it reminds us of the most important graces we need. The Infant Jesus wishes to grant us great spiritual graces this season. Sadly, we don’t value His graces sufficiently, don’t dispose ourselves to receive them, or fail to ask for them. Let us call to mind the tears He shed for us. Consider how much He loves us – a truth manifested at Christmas more than nearly any other day – and thus strive to receive and return His love.

This is happening throughout the entire Church. The canonical processes which are intended to uphold truth and justice have become blatantly corrupt. Some of the very worst pastors are being placed into high positions of power. It is imperative that we pray for the Church. Pray for the conversion of the hierarchy. And support your faithful priests! An extremely powerful prayer is the Rosary, but we must use it well. While the Rosary consists of both meditative and vocal prayer, it is the mental prayer which we so often neglect. As we pray, we are to contemplate the virtues and chief mysteries of the life, death, and glory of Jesus Christ and His most Holy Mother.

We must fight against this heresy with all our strength. In brief, liberalism is the error that man (as an individual or as a society) has the right to decide the norms by which he will regulate his life, that he is the arbiter of right and wrong, or that he may think and believe whatsoever he wills. The truth is that ALL things - visible and invisible – were created in Christ, by Christ, and for Christ (Col 1:16). Everything without exception must be subject to Christ and serve Him. Yet the world has set itself completely against Christ’s Kingship. Tragically, it is also a truth from which the current Church authorities have deviated. This betrayal is worse than that of Judas; it breaks the hearts of faithful Catholics.

This long episode recaps many points raised earlier and sets up the conclusion to this HN series. The smoke of satan has entered the Church via his synagogue. The Jews, in their turn, have used freemasonry, with the fabricated holocaust narrative as weapon to becloud the thinking of many. Basta!
