Mike and I established this podcast to portray to other veterans or other people to be able to reach out to their friends, family, or even their wingman and have authentic conversations. On this episode, Izzy gives gratitude to Argentina for winning the World Cup and acknowledging Messi as the G.O.A.T and winning the only trophy that has eluded him for some time. Izzy rants about how silly it is that people are portraying themselves to be Wednesday, from Addams family, and reenacting the dance that was shown on Netflix, please STOP DOING THE DANCE, YOU ALL LOOK DUMB DOING IT. It seems society gets persuaded so easily and feel it is something that needs to be shown, but it is straight nonsense. Izzy and Mike discuss if divorce rates are higher because of women over 40yrs old and are stay at home moms are more likely to initiate divorce or is divorce higher without it being from women that are stay at home moms. Mike discusses that it is important for men to express to their significant other of how much they are appreciated. Marriage requires two-way communication, and it means to be there for one another. Both should be grateful for what each other contributes to the marriage and the household. At times relationship can lose that spark or not putting time towards each other, so men and women try to make time for just each other, do a date night. Izzy and Mike talk about having communication checks to know if the relationship is in trouble, just trying to visualize for signs to see if the relationship is in trouble can hinder it. #marriagegoals #veteranpodcast #comedy
On this episode, Mike and Izzy are joined by a friend, mentor, veteran, and now author, David Satchell a.k.a Satch. Satch retired from the Air Force after serving 30yrs as a Command Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. The rank of Chief Master Sergeant is the highest enlisted rank in the military. After retiring, Satch decided to convey his 30yrs of leadership, life experiences, and life lessons into his book titled Extracting the Leader from Within. In this book Satch portrays personal experiences and showcases his authenticity and transparency regarding leadership. He entails the 5 imperatives of being an influential leader, to include personal stories that occurred in his career that reflects various leadership traits and lessons. The beauty of Satchell book is that its concepts & themes parallel with everyday life. Satch has gone beyond by taking these leadership principles and began conducting leadership workshops. Satch even began his own apparel labeled ENLISTED to highlight where his roots came from while in the military. If you don’t have his book, it is definitely a must read.  #leadership #leadershipdevelopment #militaryleadership #military #veteranpodcast

Should tattoos be random or should they provide meaning. Check out as Mike and I get into the topic of getting tattoos and provide insight on to what extent that people should go when getting a tattoo and what we consider to be relevant, and why is society quick to stereotype when they see individuals with tattoos or if these individuals are minorities with tattoos...I had to school Mike on the reason why Puerto Ricans have so much pride in there culture, whether we are from the island or in my case a New York Rican and Mike shares a great story about his daughter that teaches her a life lesson on the trials and tribulations of a "Wet Fart". To double dip or not to double dip, that is the question...Enjoy!!
On this episode of RGIJ, my favorite twins Heather & Heidi. On this episode, a veteran, friend, and author Marcus Simmons breaks down several of the toxic masculinity archetypes that men deal with and how these men have no cognizant that these alter egos are within. Marcus Simmons exploits his own stories that are relatable to his life and the reasoning behind writing his novel "Unapologetically Masculine: Masculinity without Toxicity". Marcus Simmons holds a Masters degree in Marriage & Family counseling. He is a certified life coach. There might be some form of toxic masculinity within ourselves, so listen in to see if what Marcus Simmons is saying might apply to you. Trust you won't be disappointed.
In this Episode, Izzy and I sit down and talk something really important. What do you do once you have a nacho mess. Not really, but we do sit down and have a serious question about kids these days. Izzy has no kids and we can tell why. Mike has two kids and can understand, and always seems to blame the parents. Sit back and listen, we got some big things headed your way.  #veterans #veteranpodcast #nachos
In this episode, Izzy and I sit down and talk about betting on yourself. At times, you want to do something you’ve never done, however, we all know that one person. That one person who says “you can’t” or “that’s risky”. Surround yourself with people that are truly happy you are improving and moving forward. If you like where you are and do not want to go anywhere else, good for you. However, for the small few that are not happy where they are, get ready to grind, and spend a lot of tireless nights working. #selfworth #confidence #motivation #veteranpodcast
In this Episode we talk about how do you know your worth. This is an uncommon topic to talk about or even discuss, everyone is different  and we all have gifts. Even though we are at different stages in life and have different gifts, we all have know or worth. If you don't know your worth, spend time thinking of the value you bring others. We also get into another story of Izzy losing his man card, I think Izzy likes the treatment.  #knowyourworth #veterans #veteranpodcast

In this episode we dive deep into one of the military's most sought out pass times, STRIP CLUBS. No military person is complete without a story from a strip club, young men and women have all fallen prey to a siren's lap dance. Check out as Izzy and I talk about some of our top strip stories.
In this episode, Izzzy expresses his views on the snow and the cold. He's from New York, but has gotten use to the warm weather in Florida. He was in Chicago for his Nephew's Navy Bootcamp ceremony. A lot of this podcast was Izzy being Izzy about the snow, check it out!
Izzy tells the story of him loosing his man card, check it out!!
Get ready for today's episode, Izzy gives his thoughts and issues with Gen Zers. Also, we get to hear a snippet of Izzy's nephew commentary live from boot camp. The young man is experiencing a hard moment in life, however, it brings a tear to the both of us.
As Izzy starts talking about his nephew being in Navy Bootcamp, we start to tell old stories. Even though it's been years since we went through bootcamp, these memories are still fresh.
Izzy and I sit down and discuss Mind Journals. We both know people that are affected by mental illness, and what a mind journal could do to help. Izzy also talks about how his motivated nephew has become his maid to impress his girlfriend.
In this episode we talk the ideas and truths of what it means to be driven. Standards that have been placed or voluntary placed, helps you rise above the competition. Current society allows you to be great, with very little effort, since everyone is weak and not doing anything.
It's great to sit down and talk about the military. However, we need to grow mentally, physically, and our assets for the future. Go over what index funds are and why it's important to invest now. If you invest $3K when a child is born for 60 years at 15%, that child would have over $13 million once they turned 60.  https://www.investor.gov/financial-tools-calculators/calculators/compound-interest-calculator
