Hey, Clemson Family -- as the Tigers look around at other conferences  hauling in bigger bucks, they're not alone in the ACC -- Seminoles  leaders including AD Michael Alford and the Board of Trustees are  looking at potential exit strategies, so we try to put it in context of  the bigger picture and a few possible solutions (some big, some  midsized, and without resorting to "hot take" territory). We also look  at the upswing for Clemson men's basketball and the paths available to  reach the NCAA Tournament if they can maintain their momentum of late  and avoid the downswings that have plagued the second half of the  season. We also take a look at the football team's performance from its  safeties, primarily Andrew Mukuba, Jalyn Phillips, RJ Mickens and  Sherrod Covil, and a few of the things they and coach Mickey Conn need  to do to improve for the coming season.  Finally we close things out  with the baseball team's disappointing losses last weekend that led to a  UCF sweep (and an unmentionable celebration), plus an exciting ray of  hope to look for midweek this week. We're glad you found us - subscribe or follow so you'll stay up to date on analysis of all the latest and biggest  development around Clemson sports!

All right, college sports fans -- it's time to talk football recruiting as Early Signing Day brought Clemson a surprise on the defensive side of the ball to help make up for a few decommits. Dabo Swinney has plenty to smile about, starting with six offensive linemen (the size of class we've hoped for, nice work Matt Luke!), and including two quarterbacks to go with three top-end wide receivers. Get the details, from Kentavion "Polo" Anderson to Shavar Young, without too much of a deep dive right here. Be sure to comment with your takes, or any questions. We're glad you found us!
Hey there college sports fans, we’ve got full-game analysis of Clemson’s 28-14 win at South Carolina on Saturday, putting a good feeling on the end of a disappointing 7-5 season for the Tigers football program. Who shined against the Gamecocks to make the win possible, and what can this victory do to help Dabo Swinney find positive momentum to use for recruiting as Early Signing Day 2026 approaches? How can Clemson take the right lessons out of its four-game win streak to close the regular season and make sure next year won’t be as disappointing – especially with key starters such as Cade Klubnik, Adam Randall, Antonio Williams and others moving on from their college careers? We’ll run through everything we saw take place in Columbia and discuss what it means for the Palmetto Bowl rivalry as well as for new endeavors next year? Jump on over to YouTube.com/ClemsonKickoff and be sure you comment with your takes as well. We're glad you found us!
Hey college sports fans, it’s clear that 2025’s Clemson vs. South Carolina football game will hang largely on the battle between Tigers QB Cade Klubnik’s efficiency and Gamecocks QB Lanorris Sellers’ ability to run. But several other matchups on the field Saturday in this nook kickoff of the Palmetto Bowl also loom as major factors. Can Antonio Williams lead the Clemson wide receivers to put up big yards-after-catch totals and key the Tigers offense? Can running backs Adam Randall and Gideon Davidson break free despite an injury-depleted Tigers offensive line? Will Clemson’s defensive line find a way to keep Sellers contained and off his game? And can the troubled Tigers defensive backs resolve their problems against a capable Gamecocks receiving corps? Get ready to run through all of it.
It’s not difficult to understand why the 6-5 Clemson Tigers listed as underdogs going into Palmetto Bowl week at South Carolina against the 4-7 Gamecocks, but it still might be surprising to see. But when you take stock of the issues with the Clemson defense last year, as well as the injuries along the Tigers offensive line this year, it’s easier to see why this matchup’s variables come into play and swing toward the home team being the favorite. We jump into what Dabo Swinney needs to see from offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and quarterback Cade Klubnik if the two-time national-championship head coach is to avoid his third loss in four seasons at the hands of South Carolina. We're glad you found us -- be sure to comment at YouTube.com/ClemsonKickoff, it's the best place to share your reactions!

Dabo Swinney’s postgame reaction to Clemson’s 20-19 over Louisville was rooted in genuine joy, as his smile showed the pride he felt for his players’ ability to bring their own guts and scrape out a win over the Cardinals. The win got Clemson back to .500, yet the Tigers clearly had issues on Friday night, and we’ll channel our college football analysis into the Louisville vs. Clemson highlights – and what it means with the season-finale rivalry against the Gamecocks (with South Carolina fresh off a collapse at Texas A&M) just two weeks away.
All right college sports fans, Clemson football is back on the right track – or at least it was in a dominant 24-10 win Saturday over Florida State. The Tigers are making a push to get back to .500. We discuss why Cade Klubnik did a better job of distributing the ball in the Clemson offense, while the Tigers defense bowed up to stop the Seminoles’ rushing game and got away with a few problems against the passing game. What does it all mean for Clemson’s upcoming Friday night game at Louisville? We analyze what might make an impact as the 4-5 Tigers try to get bowl-game eligible. It’s time to dive into the analysis with three games left in the regular season.
All right college sports fans, we’ve got our latest Clemson game analysis after the homecoming loss to Duke, an ACC football upset that has the Tigers reeling at 3-5 and 2-4 in conference. We take a look at Dabo Swinney’s list of problems to figure out in our college football reactions this week, having watched the Duke vs. Clemson game and rewatched the highlights. Clearly Swinney is not happy with his team, as seen in his impassioned speech to Tigers defensive players on the sidelines just moments before halftime. Check out our sports commentary and be sure to add your thoughts at YouTube.com/ClemsonKickoff to let us know what we got right and where we whiffed.
All right, college sports fans -- the Clemson offense has gotten more things right this year than the defense as the Tigers have struggled to a 3-4 record, but there's a lot of work to be done nonetheless. Adam Randall's dedication hasn't been enough to establish a running game behind a problematic offensive line that's taken a step back this season. Christopher Vizzina's potential wasn't enough to improve on Cade Klubnik's issues in the passing game. And the receivers can't quite shake the drops. We get into a few things that have been plaguing assistant coaches Garrett Riley, Matt Luke and CJ Spiller during the Tigers' first seven games. For extra content, see our Tiger Trends blog at ClemsonKickoff.com. We're glad you found us!
All right, college sports fans -- Despite solid stats from QB Christopher Vizzina in his first start, Clemson lost 35-24 to SMU and is in the bottom half of the ACC standings. Dabo Swinney has a lot to take stock of, and we start our analysis from afar with a look at the troubles that have plagued Tom Allen's defense all season long. We also look at longer trends of recent season to try to figure out what's going wrong, and what seems evident to us is that there's a big disconnect between the coaches and players. In this episode, we start to dive into where Clemson might try to make progress as it enters the second bye week of the 2025 season. We're glad you found us!
All right, college sports fans -- Cade Klubnik had one of the better games of his career by staying composed and making his reads as Clemson put up 41 points in a blowout win at Boston College. The Tigers are a .500 team again overall and in the ACC, but Dabo Swinney still has work to do with this team if the winning ways are to continue. Tom Allen's defense gave up too many plays of double-digit yardage as Garrett Riley's offense started to click. We're glad you found us!
All right, college sports fans -- Cade Klubnik and the Clemson Tigers came barrelling out of the gate for a 38-10 win at UNC over Bill Belichick's Tar Heels. It's a step in the right direction for Dabo Swinney's 2025 squad, with some clear improvements worth analyzing. Yet there's still work to be done if Clemson is to even approach the kind of season it had envisioned in August, so we'll get into that too. All right, college sports fans -- Clemson has dug itself a hole that's two games below .500 before the Tigers even have their first ACC win. That needs to get better Saturday at UNC, but if Clemson is to right its ship some in-house problems need to be taken care of. We'll run through some of the top fixes Dabo Swinney and his coordinators, Garrett Riley and Tom Allen, must make if their players are to live up to their potential. We also have a few quick ideas on big-picture problems to consider, not that they help this week. We're glad you found us!
